I took things apart, too, except the motor-pump unit that I did not touch because I am not a mechanic-pro, :-). I cleaned the plastics parts that I could disassemble. Where is the chopper you mentioned? I dont see the chopper -- is it a separate part from motor-pump or build in the pump? Thanks!
I am experiencing the same problem. It looks like that we have the same dishwasher. I wonder if the geiger sound problem with your dishwasher is fixed. Could you post your solution? Thanks.
@zhaoqn It's fixed. There some kind of chopper inside to chop food. I took everything apart and simply cleaned it. I believe this type of cleaning procedure should be done periodically. Also, when I took everything apart I ran the dishwasher at different disassembled stages to verify where the noise came from. It was an easy fix.
I need to update this video. I took all the bits on the inside apart including the little chopper thing and then put it all back together. That was a couple of months ago and I haven't had a problem since. This is a great dishwasher.

This particular model chops up the food particles. Sounds like there is something like a popcorn shell in there.
