Hey MyDouglasshippuden, long time no hear. OK, to get costumes you need to do the following: Unlock Aya´s costumes (4 to unlock): Get 10, 20, 30 quests and beat story mode in all difficulties. Unlock Misery´s costumes (3 to unlock): Get 10, 20 and 30 quests. Unlock Reiko´s costumes (3 to unlock): Get 10, 20 and 30 quests. Unlock Saki´s costumes (4 to unlock): Get 10, 20, 30 quests and beat stoy mode in all difficulties.
Alot of people hate on this game, I dont see why - I own both versions of this game on 360 and Wii and I enjoy them both. Differences: The 360 has additional cutscenes, the Wii does not. The 360 uses ordinary gamepads, the Wii uses Wiimote(motion control) and nunchuck. Not big on Japanese Anime but the zombie slayage is great.
MrDouglasshippuden, unfortunately it is a Japanese game. The dialogue is Japanese but the game developers did provide english subtitles. I forgot to mention that the Wii version is a sequel to the 360 version.
MrDouglasshippuden, No probs mate. All you need to know is the different features in both versions. Wii version has Story Mode (Single player Campaign), Free Play (Single and Co-Op), Survival (Single and Co-Op), Practice (Single player), Quest (View Quests), View (look at character animations, sound and profiles). The 360 version has all of the above plus Dress Up (unlock outfits in game and dress up characters), In View menu (view unlocked cutscenes) but only on the 360 version. Good Luck...
MrDouglasshippuden, yes there are weapons. In the Wii version you need to unlock a character named Reiko, Reiko's primary weapon is a samurai sword and secondary is Shotgun. In the xbox360 version, you need to unlock a character named Anna, Anna's primary weapon is a pistol and secondary is a shotgun. Which version are you after, 360 or Wii? I can narrow down my responses assuming you're interested in only one.
thank you PsychoJay75 I would like to know info on both versions.(both wii and 360)because I want the wii version and the 360 version is for my cousin so yes I would like info on both.but one quik question are the wii version and 360 versions story mode both different.
Ok, The story for the 360 version. Aya, a descendent of the family known as IMICHI, meaning blood that goes out of control, reconciles with her sister Saki, live together in peace for awhile. The peace doesnt last for long as an infestation of zombies have plagued the city. The sisters join together to draw their swords and rid the city of evil.
Now the Wii version. Aya is out to find the meaning of her IMICHI ancestors, even if it leads to the answer she does not wish for. Every person met and enemy battled gets the sisters closer to understanding who or what is behind the zombie outbreak and putting an end to it.
PsycoJay this may sound dumb but what does it say on the screen when you die on both games.(if you have died because you are prabably so good that you never die on this game)
MrDouglasshippuden, Lol, At some point in the game you will die so I wouldn't say never. Anyway, if you do happen to get killed in the game all it says is: Retry? Yes or No. You would expect it to say game over but it doesnt.
MrDouglasshippuden, I need to correct my last comment, it actually does say Game over but only when you select No on the Retry screen. Lol, funny huh.
thank you I said that because sometimes when you die on these zombie games the death scenes are scary but at the retry srcreen does it have some scary music behind it or does it have the music from the level in it.
When in extreme rage you will deal more damage, but your health will slowly deplete. There's a Splatter Gauge on the the bottom left hand corner of the screen. The Splatter Gauge measures the amount of blood that has been splattered onto your character. When this gauge is full, your character will rampage. The only ways to get out of Rage Mode are to touch a goddess statue, or a power up which is a piece of the goddess statue given when a zombie is defeated or when you finish the level.
Yeah Left 4 Dead 2 is kind of creepy, reminds me of a movie called 28 Days Later and 28 weeks later with the rage virus outbreak. The frying pan is a hilarious weapon but the machette and the pipe bomb is the best. Damn witches piss me off though. Lol
MrDouglasshippuden, good on ya - have fun with the slayage, shit loads of blood, decapitation, what more could you ask for in a zombie game hey. My favourite zombie game is Left for Dead 2. enjoy....
I never bothered with blood mist zombies - they're a pain in the ass to kill. I read somewhere that you need to do Cool Combination attacks to kill them. To do that swing the Wii Remote for the next attack the instant the previous one hits. A white flash will indicate if you've done it correctly. I'm not sure if this makes any sense but that's how it's written on a game walkthrough i read on the internet. Good Luck.
@PsychoJay75 sorry I have not replied in a while well I did manage to kill one blood mist zombie and I got a shield ring but how do I unlock costumes on here is the question now?
@MrDouglasshippuden, sorry dude I forgot to click reply, damn I hate this new youtube layout it gets confusing. LOL, anyway I answered your question about unlocking costumes, check my previous comment. Later...
I laughed at the crappy 360 version, since it just looked like an excuse for half naked Japanese schoolgirls, but I have to admit the Wii version does look pretty good.
Ok so is Onechanbara Revolution(?) (Wii) version like the sequel to Onechanbara Vortex (360 version)? Cuz I remember Misery being the final boss in Vortex but in Revolution she's an ally I believe, unless I'm misunderstanding.
Misery is a boss in the Wii version, and also a playable character once you complete the main story as Aya and Saki. I haven't played the 360 game, but I did get a feeling that the Wii version is a sequel.
Why does this game get such a bad score? I haven't played it before, but it looks alright so far...
