I found that RightZoom produced some very odd and frustrating mousing behaviour in certain applications.
In Logic Pro my mouse would sometimes get stuck on and I would accidentally drag things around. In Adobe Reader the GUI would sometimes freeze for a few seconds.
After removing RightZoom, all this weird and annoying behaviour that made me thing that I was going mad had disappeared!
yeah i bumped into this problem aswell when i got my first mac, its really a big miss by apple and i wish they could fix this so you dont have to download a app only for a simple task like that
Mac's maxmize button is used to stretch the window to fit everything in it. Personally, I don't like the whole "full screen" thing. I prefer Mac's "fit" look. But I'm glad that someone has this for those people who prefer the Windows look to windows.
Omg thank you! It was killing me that I couldnt maximize my window, it's annoying to keep going to the corner & drag the arrow-thingy to make it bigger.
cooool! but what happens if you have your dock configured to be always showing??? does it maximize over the dock??? or you can see the dock over the maximized window?
THANKS SOOO MUCH, im in the transition from mac to windows, and when at the apple store trying out macs, that was the only thing i didnt like bout macs. and u have sorted out my only issue XD cheerzz =D
@super2matt glad I could help. Once you go mac you will never go back, it really is true. Mac OS X does have its flaws, but it is still better than windows.
the maximize button is a big deal when you open multiple .doc files. when you do, each files that you open after the first will get smaller and smaller. Then when you go and edit the size of those that you just opened after the first it some times become the default window size the next time you open that program
hi there, thank you so much for talking about this app. it was awesome. thesavage042, i was wondering, can we move the exit, max, min buttons to the right of the scree?
dude i just got my macbookpro yesterday and i really wana say thanx for this! im still struggling a bit but im already loving the change that have made after years if of being a bit nervous to make!
Dude. listen to me. On the bottom right of the web that is open is lines, u hold that and just drag it and it will make it bigger WITHOUT DOWNLOADING ANYTHING!!!!!!

apple osx still not have cute paste, no NTFS, resizing screens all day long, clutered fugly dock, desktop aliases/shortcuts dont align properly...
i would rate osx just a pretty version of windows 3.1

the green button makes the windows big enough for all of the content to be displayed. sometimes it makes it smaller and sometimes it makes it bigger.

Some apps, like text edit and calendar, when you click the green button, it makes it full size.
Interesting that Snow leopard doesn't have something as basic as maximize window built in to the O/S.

Hey great video!
Just one question, does this program startup when Mac OS boots up? I hate items starting up on any computer that are not essential items for the OS.
Thanks!

hey so does this always startup as a "startup item" in mac os? I just hate a bunch of startup items that would slow down the startup process etc
