@krakmxer The countryman is much larger (relative to Minis) and offers 4 doors and 4 individual seats. The center console is different but the untrained eye would barely notice. The countryman also has and AWD option. It is also more expensive and its ride is a bit different since it has a higher ground clearance and more weight

Kyle, why is it that some Mini Cooper models have a hood with the headlights attached that lift up along with it when you open it and models like this have the headlights mounted to the front?

@slyguyaction because they are different generations. the 1st generation of BMW Minis which i think is 2001-2007 have the headlights attached to the bonnet aka hood. the later models have headlamps "embedded" into the car itself

@srkennedy95 I don't that there's any difference between pre and post 2007 MINIs. It was basically just a minor facelift. The biggest updates were a slightly updated, remodeled interior as well as a range of new/updated engines with better economy and sometimes slightly more power (about +10HP). Everything else basically remained unchaged, including the chassis, suspension and weight. So nah, there's no difference in handling between 1st and 2nd gen MINIs ;)
