  • Pingu is not quite correct. The Wiggles DID make 5 t.v. series with Greg & 1 in 2007 with moran. Disney refused to air the new shows for 2 years & continued with Greg's shows. They finally gave in & aired them starting Dec. 2008. They were on for a few months & then the Wiggles were off Disney. The Wiggles asked out of their contract & I think Disney was glad to see them go.  The group is not touring more, but less. They used to do 3 five to six week U.S. tours and it is down to 2 tours now.

  • Greg was diagnosed with Orthostatic Intolerance & reluctantly retired from the group. Basically it means his blood isn't properly circulated around his body. Symptoms can be fatigue, low blood pressure, fainting & breathing problems. He's much better & returned to public life in '08. He did t.v./radio interviews, sang in public, played cricket in charity events & created a research fund for O.I. He hopes to return to the stage & record CDS.
