I actually remember this being on the "BKN" network. It would air on channel 32 where Kids WB normally was but it would air very early in the morning before Kids WB would even start. Used to watch this every morning when I was a kid at I think around 6 or 6:30AM. Such nostalgia watching the intro. Thanks for the upload. :)

Man, I remember watching this. I never saw the end of it, dammit... I wanted to see Moo get his. I remember thinking to myself when I saw the Monster Rancher tournament that it seemed like an awesome game concept, and I really wanted to play it and wished it was real.

Then... then I found it. I found Monster Rancher. (PAL release of MR2). Oh, the hours I spent playing that game. Truly awesome. I cried when my first monster died, y'know. Didn't know they could do that.

Spongebob is like the modern Ren and Stimpy

...except it's not really funny, there aren't catchy tunes, the characters aren't really likable (indeed half the populace of Bikini Bottom are blithering idiots), and it never EVER pushes the boundaries of what is acceptable in a kid's show, which is what Ren and Stimpy was so great at doing.

Dont get me wrong, the 2000 and now 2010s are coming out with SOME good shows, but they're very limited, and most treat children like they're dumb

F.U.N., Krusty Krab Pizza, I wanna Go Home, etc. Now the characters thing is all a matter of opinion but how can you hate Mermaid Man and Barnacle boy? And children really are dumb. My whole generation grew up on pretty much nothing but mutants fighting mutants and really odd humor from the WB studios.

Really? I watched it for a few seasons when there was nothing else on and I didn't see anything boundary-pushing. Just largely idiotic humor with the occasional gross out images. Also just because children are dumb doesn't mean a show has to treat them like they're dumb.

The music is a matter of opinion.

I forgot about Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy but in retrospect I didn't really get an appreciation for them until I saw the old Adam West Batman series.

@he1l1o Yeah, Cartoon Network has dumbass shows like Sixteen or whatever and these cheezy cartoon "trying" to shoot for an older concept of kids. Toonami was kicked out as Cartoon Network's stuff skyrocketed but here in Japan Toonami is still alive and is much like America's Boomerang. It shows all the old animes. Nickalodeon only had Avatar the last airbender (I stopped watching after it stopped showing). I like Japan's channels better, all they show is Anime. :/
