  • Jesus said I have come to save not to condem. He was pure love. He said all have sinned and come short of the Glory! The man on his right on the cross. What punishment did he receive. He said today you will be with me in Paradise. You twist the bible and then cut people off when they try to tell the truth.

  • I always ruin the wonderful videos by looking at moronic comments. God is God, He gives and He takes, He justifies or He doesn't. He does as He pleases because He is God. God's hate is as perfect as His love, and He cannot punish sin, so He will punish sinners, and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

  • he who complain the loudest its the one that less do to change his world and were he lives , my friend evidently you do not know the mercy and love and compassion of Christ , we have brains , do you even have any idea what it takes to study theology , i guess not , God does not want praise just because , whosoever owns praise and respects demands it , you seem like a mart person , therefore i assume you are to be consider as such , the world was given to us to run it at will, do not blame Him

  • You think fearing God is moral and honor-worthy? Why would an omnipotent and perfect god care about the doting sycophantisms of one species of its alleged creation? Why would a just god be so jealous and desperate for attention and praise? Why is he so painfully shy? Why does he apparently ALLOW millions of his innocent children to die of horrific, bewildering starvation every year?? You worship an imaginary sadist.

Grow a brain. Stop letting ancient ignorant goat-herders dictate your beliefs.

  • All have sinned and greatly offended the holy God of the bible. The just punishment is death then hell. That's not Gods will. He suffered and died on the cross paying for the law you broke in His life's blood so He could legally dismiss your case. You must repent turn from your sin and trust alone in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

  • That is a false interpretation of Scripture. We certainly do have free will, otherwise we are not fully human. To say, as he does, that it is "fixed" from the beginning is a lie,(Proverbs 19:9.) - It is that typically false, Calvinist, interpretation of Scripture that has led to both inquisitions and holocausts. Remember, ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ. You cannot worship both Christ and MacArthur, (Luke 12.) Read it and reflect upon it. - Turn to Christ.

  • I heart Jesus!!!!!!

  • John MacArthur is the living embodiment of Matt 7:15.

  • @rickw1100 WOW!!! You really believe John Macarthur is a false prophet??? Care to share with us, as to why you think this?

  • @maidenshazza Sure. Be happy to. MacArthur preaches the false doctrine of predestination (look it up)-it denies the reality of basic human freedom and choice. That makes him a heretic He also preaches lies about other Christian leaders such as Billy Graham , the Pope, and Joel Osteen, listen to them, they on Utube. He is trying to divide the Body of Christ in order to make money. He is doing the work of the Devil: (John 8:44). His reward will be a place with him. Hope this enlightens you.

  • i don't think Macarthur is trying to make money, from what I know he is one of the only ministries that gives back freely every month to those on his mailing list. Last year he gave away free esv study bibles even without a donation, you dont see that too often with ministries.

  • @bible1985 Go to his "website", he wants your money as well as your worship. -2 Corinthians 11:12-15.

  • @rickw1100 asking for donations for the right reasons like getting the gospel and the word of God out to the world and to continue to have money to reproduce material their i nothing wrong to do, almost all ministries do that the problem is some are taking peoples money for their own use and material possessions. But you know what is funny most people send Macarthur money not because he begs but because he preaches the truth and has had a great impact on them and they desire to hear him.

  • @rickw1100 Also if you go to his website you can watch every video or sermon or conference or tv interview all for free, and they have I think almost a million people or more a year who go on their. Just because you disagree with a few doctrinal teachings you don't have to accuse him of desiring our money. He has been a blessing to me, predestination is biblical, i guess it depends how far you believe in it and what extent.

  • @rickw1100 Macarthur as a calvinist i thnk he is does think we don't have a will, we do, whether you our christian or non christian we all have a will, it is commonly misunderstood by those who attack calvinists that they don't believe in free will, but that is far from the truth. Biblically we don't have a complete free will, we are either in bondage to sin and satan or in bondage to righteousness and Christ, it is not free by no chance. Macarthur is showing love by warning of false teachers.

  • Your Yahweh has the exist first to destory me. According to Hebrew mythology Yahweh Sabaoth was a warrior god from Edom/ Seir/ Paran. He used to fly around on the backs of cherubs and blow smoke out his nostrils. Yahweh is a myth.

  • @halolIlmao0 You can tell him that one day as you are bowing before Him and pleading for mercy but it will be to late.

  • @Kinosis79 I will not blow down to an unethical being. All of you Christians are all the same. You ignore all truth and accept myths over science.

  • @halolIlmao0 The problem with this statement is this; you bow down to an unethical being everyday. Lucifer is the "ruler" of this world. When you reject Christ, you give yourself over to iniquity. He is the father of sin, and whether you accept it, or believe it...or even realize it, this is the reality of the human situation when there is no Christ in your life. The myths that you should be weary of believing in are the theories of science created by man.

  • @kewlazpewp People say they can't believe the Bible because it's written by men, but who comes up with all these wild theories? Men! Can you see how this is contradictory thinking? You believe these men over others. In reality the Bible was "Theopneustos", or "God-breathed". This means that the Bible is a superior source of Godly testimony, over all other books claiming similar things.

  • @kewlazpewp If you think scientist get everything right, then think about how people used to think that the universe was geo-centric...or how the world was flat. That came from the foolish thoughts of men. Romans 1:21-22: "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools."

  • @kewlazpewp The bible Jesus Christ is not the real one. The real Jesus is Jmmanuel. He did not come to die for anyone but to bring knowledge about the Universe and how it works. The Israelist and the Romans twisted his teachings to keep humans divided and confused. That is why the Bible contradicts itself because it was written by evil men and Repitilans.

  • @halolIlmao0 That is an ignorant and quite ridiculous statement my friend.

  • @kewlazpewp Your belittling tactics will not work here. Friend. Nor your Lake of Fire threats because I have done enough reseach to know that the Lake of Fire came from Egyptian mythology.Friend. The teachings you are defending is Paul's dogma.

  • @halolIlmao0 You are right, you won't bow before an unethical being like yourself, you will bow and plead before God.

  • @Kinosis79 Your Yahweh Jehovah supports slavery, rape, sent lying spirits and hardens people’s hearts. If Yahweh Jehovah sent lying spirits then it proves that he is not worthy of any praise or worship because behind our back He too is a sinner.

  • @halolIlmao0 You might want to go to school and learn something bud. Simply mentioning something happened that did happen, doesn't mean you are in support of it. Also the slavery mentioned was nothing like the American version of slavery you have in your mind. Seriously, you are so uneducated it would be funny if it wasn't so sad and pathetic.

  • @Kinosis79 You are not interested in to learning the truth. Your head in in your butt. Who is the real fool here the one with blind faith or the one who actually wants to know if Christianity is true? You don't care about truth you just believe because it felts good.

  • @halolIlmao0 And how do you know any of that? You don't, you make assumptions....like a fool. Nothing you just said is even accurate. I have spent countless hours studying and learning for the last decade. I used to be an atheist but couldn't deny the truth forever.

  • @Kinosis79 Any name-calling ,circular reasoning and special pleading is is all you got. You are just like the rest.

  • My brothers and sisters, beware of these deniers and blasphemers who look for those speaking the truth to only attack and diminish the testimony of the true Word of God. I have found youtube to be a den for attacks against God's truth, and those who come to these videos just to spit their poison toward believers, whether it be the shepherd (John Macarthur) or the sheep (those who listen/read, love its truth and believe) you must shake the sand from your feet for they have shown no interest in it

  • @kewlazpewp Thank you and God bless for your calm, correct, rational words.

  • i believe in God and i am unafraid. i respect God's prerogetives over His creation, ie you and me. i understand God to be perfect, His judgment of me will be perfect. any man's interpretation of scripture will not be perfect, not even close. i do not fear God's judgment. we will all deserve whatever we get.

  • @atestring you are ignorant

  • John MacArthur is a false prophet.

  • @rickw1100 and ur the devils puppet! get a life buddy!

  • @tank924 Read Matt 7:15. and get you head right.

  • @rickw1100 A false prophet is a teacher of incorrect doctrine, or one falsely and unjustly laying claims to divine inspiration. if John MacArthur was a false prophet i would not be watching his videos. what FACTS makes you say this? if you giving me a verse from the bible you must believe gods word? then im sorry for calling you the devils puppet! but this guy isnt a false prophet.

  • @tank924 Then I challenge you to read Matt. 25 : 31-46 -the essential requirements for salvation. Now show me where this false prophet EVER speaks about ANY of these simple Holy requirements. You will not find them. He does not preach them, because he cannot make money off of this sacred instruction.Instead he leads the gullible in the opposite direction. Is this old deceiver worth going to Hell for. Sheep or goat?

  • @rickw1100 i read it and ur wrong! sorry i dont see ur point! pastor MURRAY is a false prophet... cause he teaches everybody gets into heaven if there good... and i know that aside from jesus christ there is no other way into heaven and yess people go to hell along w/satain and his angels. but you never did prove to me why your making such claims against JM w/nothing to back up ur claim.. did he say something you didnt like?

  • @tank924 Obviously you either haven't listened to what he says, or more likely you refuse to admit that you are wrong. I challenge you again. Point out to me ANYWHERE in ANY of his "sermons" that he preaches ANYTHING, even closely related to the essential Truths spoken of in Matt. 25 : 31-46.There is no fudging the Truth in this Scriptural passage- no way. These requirements are what separates the sheep from the goats- its right there in the Word. Again, show me where he preaches this message.

  • @tank924 self righteousness is a sin, christ did not die on the cross so you could lord over people on the internet... get over yourself, regain just a little humility, you sound like an elitist.

  • @cwross1976 self righteous ass hole you are! now after seeing ur commment i can say that about you. but to call this guy false and not be able to tell me why and what it is he teaches thats false! then u ass clowns are way outta line! find something better to do! got that skunk stool!

  • "Fearing God" is not a sign of humility; it is the manifestation of extreme delusions of grandure. There is no higher form of self-adoration than to insist we humans are the focus and the primary benefactors of an Almighty Creator of the universe.

How pathetically narcisssitic must one be to believe all of this man made hokus pokus?

  • @multitalentino let us have our truth and u can have ur lies! get a life buddy!

  • @tank924 Saw your Logo". Sure glad I'm NOT mixed up with YOUR cult! Lies for each meal, then bull shit to wash'em down. Keep that!

  • Proverbs 16:4 John 15:16 Eph. 1:4- It is clear God chooses and human nature rejects this because it removes the choice of man and salvation rests solely in Gods hands. If God left this choice to men (Rom. 1 no one seeks...) no one would believe. Faith comes by hearing... but how can they hear without a preacher.... The believer simply responds to Gods word and this is a reaction> God does the action first of causing the Word to be available. By Grace through Faith

  • There is not much space to address this issue in detail. Just as God did not create the angels and Lucifer so they would sin but that they would glorify Him, neither did God create mankind to sin but knowing that man would sin He created His salvation plan for all mankind. "He is not willing that any should perish..." His intent is for all to be saved and glorify Him. Scripture is very clear on this. So to say that God randomly chooses those to be saved, contradicts scripture. See next comment

  • @CMCHAPEL 2 Thess. 2:13 "...from the beginning chosen you (to salvation) through sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth..." This passage obviously states that the choosing is through sanctification and further details the method. It clearly does not state that God chooses those that will be saved. "Many are called (perhaps most everyone except aborted young or those that die shortly after birth) and " A FEW ARE CHOSEN.." such as the Jewish race, Paul, Christ for salvation....

  • @CMCHAPEL All Scripture must be understood in light of all other Scripture. If certain passages or verses are studied as separate doctrines, error and/or misunderstanding usually occurs. Except for those that penned Scripture all books written about the Bible are simply commentary and all preaching since the Bible was written is simply commentary. ultimately Truth comes only by the Holy Spirit shedding light on the written Word thus we are to "Search the Scriptures daily.."

  • @CMCHAPEL I have studied this subject for a long time and know that many preachers that are greatly used by God, such as my favorite - John MacArthur disagrees with my understanding of passages regarding election. However, by his own admission, he does not understand the doctrine of election. Texts in the Bible regarding this subject are presented in a matter-of -fact manner as if the doctrine is obvious and simple in nature and limited detail is given.

  • @CMCHAPEL Yet the commands to repent and believe the gospel are throughout all Scripture. By giving man a free will, God's sovereignty is not limited. God created man in His image which includes a will - either to obey or to disobey Him just as Lucifer chose to exalt himself instead of God. If we had no choice with regard to responding to God's call, how could all mankind be without excuse? Or, if you were not chosen to be saved, how could "whosoever will" be saved and why be commanded to repent

  • Why does the video pan upward in front of young girls in tight revealing clothing? 1:36

  • @fourbyfourblazer what i noticed is while the camera was where it was. Is that look at all the people taking notes. You don't see this in to many churches.

  • can someone give me the link to the sequel to this sermon? thanks

  • He'd say "Stop being religious!"

  • I FEAR NO GOD !

  • @beanjuicy you have openly declared your foolishness. But the bravato by which you speak tells us different regarding you're view on the subject.

  • @ckacres Its not a metaphore..I do not fear god or hell because they do not exist. I am sick and tired of religion trying to frighten people with the "or else" proposition.

I am not afraid of ANY god no matter how mighty he is or how dark his hell.

Fear is not the begining of knowledge,. Knowledge is the absence of fear.

  • @beanjuicy then why are you here

  • @ckacres Only people who can't prove that Yahweh is real use namecalling.

  • @beanjuicy if you don't change that, then hell will be your home.

  • @beanjuicy you will

  • @Thinkinginstead

God gave us the ability to choose. Yes, he offers Salvation to the whole world, but he cannot stop us from saying "no".

Why anyone would refuse, I wouldn't know because God's love is so much more than amazing! :)

  • @writindrummer If God's love is so "amazing" why would anyone refuse salvation? That certainly is the question, isn't it? Apparently then, since we are told that most will refuse it, we can only assume that it is NOT so amazing - there must be something about God that is repulsive. OR, perhaps, His love really IS so amazing, and the ones who are telling us that most will reject it do not have a clue what they are talking about. Perhaps they are the ones who just haven't experienced yet.

  • @Thinkinginstead The Bible clearly states that no one seeks after God, and that all men have gone astray. Men do not choose God, rather God choses men (has already chosen them) to be His servants. No one is able to believe the gospel unless God works in them to change their hearts and see the truth. Perhaps the Lord will also show grace toward you by allowing you to believe.

  • I wish there were no hell, but Christ talked about it so much..............

  • @terrigreen100 Your wish is granted Christ is a copy of Horus. Hell or Lake of Fire is not real. The Lake of Fire was used in Eygptian myth religion. Chrsitianity stole ideas from other religions.

  • MacArthur completely contradicts his own theology of Calvinism here by implying that salvation is a free will choice rather than the election of God. Very simply, John MacArthur is a Pharisee. He is the one mouthing hypocrisy.

  • @Thinkinginstead what a nana statement lol

  • @Thinkinginstead free choise doesn't that God has chosen some people to be wicked and send them to hell.election means that God knew that men could choose goin to hell.even before he created them.but he still provides salvation for all of them.don't coment on things that u dont understand clearly,'cause' u can blasphame......God bless you

  • @francoventre I understand completely... that is why I can comment on them.

We are all blessed - thanks for reminding me.

  • @Thinkinginstead Salvation involves the free will of man. You're correct in saying that only those whom God has elected before the foundation of the world will come to a saving knowledge of Christ, but the process of salvation, the "working out," involves the free will of each individual. Those whom God regenerates by His Spirit, through the gospel, are made able, by grace, to willingly trust in the Lord, and follow Jesus to the Cross. It's the work of God to change the heart of sinners

  • @bengphoenix There is no "free" will involved for those SUBJECTED to the BONDAGE of sin.

The creation was subject to futility, NOT willingly, but by the will of Him who subjected it, in the expectation that the creation itself would be freed from its bondage to corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (Rom. 8:20)

The creation (ALL) was subject to the bondage of sin. Similarly, the creation (ALL) will be freed from it. See also Rom. 5:18 - ALL condemned, ALL justified.

  • @Thinkinginstead So are you a universal salvation guy? I agree that the whole creation is under the bondage of sin, also that Jesus is the Savior of the whole world, but Jesus did not purchase salvation for every individual. Jesus obviously describes a multitude of people that will not find the "narrow way which leads to life,"who are "of their father the devil," and who will be "cast into outer darkness." All men would justly inherit the same fate, save for the grace of God who has spared some.

  • @bengphoenix "Jesus is the Savior of the whole world, but Jesus did not purchase salvation for every individual."

Apparently then, you do NOT believe that Jesus is the Savior of the WHOLE world. Why do you claim to believe something that you don't actually believe? Christ cannot be the savior of those whom He does not save.

1John 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Which other scriptures don't you believe?

  • @Thinkinginstead I do not disbelieve 1 John 2:2, but I know for a fact that the "whole world" here does not include every single individual. Unless you are content with the Bible plainly contradicting itself, you must also conclude that this is the case. What of the Scripture references I gave? Do you not believe Jesus when he speaks of certain individuals who are destined for hell? He is the Savior of the whole world in a general sense because even those who are non-elect are able to enjoy..

  • @bengphoenix The world has no need for Savior in a "general sense." We need the real thing. Apparently you are satisfied with one that at least saves YOU.

  • @Thinkinginstead I'm quite thankful for my salvation in Christ. Everyone has the opportunity to accept the salvation he offers, but many still will not come. It is a matter of the will whether one follows Christ or not, yet only those who have been born again are able to do this. It is a matter of the heart, which only God can remedy. The world certainly does have a general need for the Lord Jesus. Without him, there is no world whatsoever, seeing that through him all things were made Jn. 1:3

  • @bengphoenix You fail to see the contradictions in your own statements. If "only those who have been born again" (God's choice) are able to come, then there is certainly no "offer" of salvation for those whom God refuses to "elect." You claim that the world has a general need for Jesus, and yet your Calvinist doctrines declare that God WILL NOT save the non-elect. As such your "god" is not worthy of our worship, for he will not give the world what it needs.

  • @Thinkinginstead ..the general blessings of God in this life, and are spared from the wrath of God for a season. If not for Christ, there would be no incentive for God to continue in His patience for sinful humanity. However, God is holding back His wrath until the Day of judgement, so that the total number of elect may be gathered.

  • @bengphoenix I would love to listen in the next time that you are explaining to your children that they MIGHT be elect, that God MIGHT love them; OR that He hates them and has predestined them to eternal torment. Are you an honest Calvinist, in that you give them BOTH sides of the doctrine of election? Do you tell your children that even if they aren't elect that they can at least "enjoy the general blessings of God" before He abandons them forever in hell? I'm sure they sleep well at night.

  • @Thinkinginstead I don't have children, but if I did I would certainly tell them the truth of the Bible. It's not up to me, nor is it up to you, to define for God what is His fair judgement for the destiny of each person's soul. Did God not say from the very beginning, to Adam, that if he ate from the tree of good and evil that he would surely die? If you believe in God, and that His Word is true, then you must admit to the fact that all men are sinners and deserve eternal hell. Do you believe?

  • @bengphoenix "The wages of sin is death"... not death and eternal torment. Your doctrines add to scripture and deny the power of Christ over death. Scripture declares that the last enemy to be defeated will be death, and yet your theology leaves most of humanity dead, as if death defeated God.... as if the power of Satan to corrupt mankind is greater than Christ's to redeem it.

"Where sin abounds grace superabounds." In your theology sin overcomes God's grace.

It is you who do not believe.

  • @Thinkinginstead The penalty of sin, even just one sin, is eternal separation from God. That's what it means to sin, to be separated from God. No one is capable of "working" their way back into a proper relationship with God, only those who trust in Christ are deemed justified. But if faith in Christ is the only link that unites us to God, how can people fellowship with God without Christ? It's not possible, therefor only those who have faith in Christ have communion with the Eternal God.

  • @bengphoenix Yes all men deserve hell but we are saved by His grace not of our works

  • @harleycraig1 Amen. Did I say otherwise?

  • @bengphoenix Hello Ben, would you clarify your stance on the elect and predestined. You can send me an email if you'd like. I'm kinda figuring this whole you tube thing out.

  • @harleycraig1 It is amazing that the very preachers that say they don't know any more about election than a person who is just saved, will preach on it as if they have some devine revelation that goes beyond what Scripture states which is: "... we were chosen IN HIM.... " for what? ..."that we might be conformed to the image of His Son.." The choosing is in regard to the method and does not refer to a choosing of a person for salvation. "MANY are called FEW are chosen!"

  • @CMCHAPEL Can you break down what you mean. I want to make sure I'm understanding you before you i comment and I'm very unclear

  • yes mp3ify is blazing fast and straightforward to download this as an mp3. google mp3ify.

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • God killed Ananias and Safira and it is in the book of Acts. This couple was too stupid to fear God. I know testimonies where God killed members of mafia who attempt to kill one minister of the gospel among Russian prisoners.

If HE wanted he would kill Saul on the road to Damascus, instead HE thrown him down from the horse and made him blind for 3 days..

God can kill, God can rise someone from dead.

Be thankful to Him as this is only by His grace that you still walk alive on this earth!

  • There is no reason to fear god.He never killed anybody.

  • Fear God who can destroy the body and the soul, he gave you both...

  • @t0t8o He gave me neither.

  • I suggest you read Luke Chapter 12 & 13 and also, go to Matthew 10:28. Because if you look at Luke 12: verses 4 and 5, especially verse 5, who do you think the "He has killed, has authority to cast into hell..... Your and is in Matthew 10:28. It will indeed change your comment.

  • There is NO reason to fear god. The only thing to fear is fear itself.

  • @lizazoon buhahaha... :-D

sorry mate... no reason to fear God?

what God are you talking about?

probably a god of your imagination not the God of the Scripture?

this type of believe we would call idolatry.

    what would you say?

    shalom :o)

  • And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

  • Yes. Whoever cares more about traditions than word of god, is not worthy of being saved.

  • From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, Far be it from you, Lord! This shall never happen to you. But he turned and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.

  • Peter was weak in His faith, standing in the way of prophecy.

  • Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves

  • What's wrong about it?

  • Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people's bones and all uncleanness. So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell?

  • I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!

    Matthew 10:34-39/Matthew 16:21-23/Matthew 23:15/27-28/33/Luke 12

  • God will destroy wicked, yes. And it's written and everyone can read it and choose if they want to believe it or not. It is written that those who laugh at Him will perish. God wants everyone to turn, but people can still choose.

  • My friend, you believe that we have free will?

  • Of course. Isn't that what my comment said?

  • tokintmash God will destroy exactly nobody. He never did. There are no wicked people. Every person is a mixture of good and evil. Generally people are good.--It is written that those who laugh at Him will perish-- Not even the worst dictator an earth did that.

  • @lizazoon This is the deception of Satan. Literally the oldest trick in the book. I think I am not mistaking a lot if I say that most of false teachings are based on this lie. Don't fall for this.

4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

    - Genesis 3:4-5

  • @tokintmash-- the serpent said unto the woman--

No serpent ever said anything only hissing.,, or rattling.

  • @lizazoon the serpent isn't as we would see a serpent now. What we see now as a serpent is what the bible describes it to be after God cursed it to crawl on its belly.

This suggests that before that it may have had legs.

Now if your problem with christianity is that serpents don't talk now, well it's not actually a problem because the bible doesn't claim that they should. It only claims that this particular serpent spoke.

So your argument is with something we don't actually believe. u get me?

  • @RenegadeMaster07-- It only claims that this particular serpent spoke.-- There are no talking snakes sir. Not a single one. There are no talking donkeys either.

  • @lizazoon yes there ARE (present) no talking snakes, not a single one.

The bible doesn't claim that there is. You can't look at the present and say "this is how its always been", because thats not true.

If the bible made these claims about the present then absolutely, you can dismiss it.

You're also missing a detail as well. God created the earth and everything on it, he created man, and THEN a serpent spoke. The serpent speaking is perfectly acceptable in that timeline.

  • @RenegadeMaster07 Ridiculous. To silly to comment on.

  • @lizazoon but you did comment. It's not illogical to believe if God had created everything in the years before that.

You see its commonly believed that Adam and Eve sinned on the first day, but we don't know that, if i remember correctly we only know that it happened in the first 130 years of his life.

Once again, the longer age span is not out of context, as later it is said that no man will now live more than 120years. So that's why we know its not claiming this should still happen.

  • @RenegadeMaster07 [cont.] What you are doing is reading one line and then deciding yourself its ridiculous!!

But you can't judge any text without reading the surrounding context.

If there was a novel where they had to drive a witness to court down a straight 10 block road. And you read a sentence in it that said "then they turned left" and you said "oh thats ridiculous!", if you read it all you'd see there was an obstruction causing them to take a different route.

    So context is very important

  • lizazoon, please don't be deceived by Satan 'cause he has blinded your mind. And by the way, God can & will. There is no such thing as a good person. In the Old Testament, because of the wickedness of the Israelites, God open'd the earth & in swallowed 23,000 people. Based on the 10 Commandments, How many lies have you told in your life, have you ever stolen anything, have you looked with lust, Taken God's name in vain (As a curse word)? If so, than you are definitely not a good person.

  • @jananders9 What a heap of silly crap. Sorry.

  • @lizazoon Not so. you do not have to believe me, read it for yourself Liza. The Word of God is clear. And whether you think it is "Aheap of silly crap" does not make a difference. we are all wretched sinners in need of a Savior as we have broken Gods' laws. Read John 8:24, I have given you the gospel, if I knew you I would grab you by the legs to keep you from going to hell. I pray that God will open up your eyes to His truth and convert your human soul. P.S. Rabbi Boteach is 100% wrong.

  • Please, everyone. Do your own study on soul's immortality. I am not gonna tell you what is right or wrong, do your own research.

The only 2 things I want ask is don't you think torturing people forever in the fire makes God look more like Satan than Loving father?

And how would you feel in The Heaven knowing that someone from your family is burning in the Hell every second the entire eternity?

Search for the Greek meaning of the "forever".

    Mal.3:19, Eze 18:4, Ps 37:20

  • Just to add, that according to online Bible (KJV). The search for "soul" resulted in 498 verses.

The search for "immortal" resulted on in 6 verses. None of those say that soul is immortal.

Check it out yourself and decide.

  • And I discovered that there is no Malachi 3:19 in English... It does exist in my Estonian translation though.

  • @tokintmash, also in the Polish translation there is Mal.3:19 and so on... up to Mal.3:24 - the very end of the Malachi book, whilst in KJV there is Mal.3:18 and then Mal.4:1-6 - simply the last 6 verses are marked as a separate, 4th chapter.

  • Thank you. That is good to know.

  • @tokintmash "eis tous aionas ton aionon -- into the age of the ages."- unlimited duration of time, with particular focus upon the future - always, forever, forever and ever, eternally. /Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament: Based on Semantic Domains, New York: United Bible Societies, 1989/

    The phrase appears in:

    Rev.19;3 20;10 1;6 1;18 4;9 4;10 5;13 7;12 10;6 11;15 15;7 22;5

    Gal.1;2 Phil.4;20 1Tym.1;17 2Tym.4;18 Heb.13;21 1Pet.4;11

    shalom :o)

  • OK. I think I found that page too :)

My KJV states: "Forever" sometimes refers to a limited period; for instance, limited to a man's lifetime (Ex. 2:5-6)".

But I cannot argue over Greek, because I don't speak it.

Nevertheless, it does not make logical sense if God is love. If someone claims to be a loving person and then tortures those He doesn't like, wouldn't you think He's a Hypocrite? God is almighty. So logically, if He created the soul, He can destroy it too. Doesn't in make more sense?

  • Ex 21:5-6 that is

  • @tokintmash - Q: "how would you feel in Heaven knowing that someone from your family is burning in Hell every second the entire eternity?"

A: I would feel Grateful beyond any means of human expression knowing that God choose a no good, dirty rotten sinner like me to live with Him for all eternity & knowing that God himself, the maker of this planet & everything in the universe, lived as a perfect man & was murdered in order for me to be with Him for all eternity.Yes, I'd feel just fine.

  • Jesus told us to love all people including our enemies. How do you think your statement complies with this?

Why do you think you are going to be saved if you think this way?

  • @tokintmash I understand how you must feel about my statements but now I want you to read a few statements that Jesus, the most loving person that ever lived, has said concerning people & enemies

Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

  • Yes. He is talking about new teachings that He brought.

  • @wellsbranchdude I don't think you listened to the whole thing. If you are muslim, you likely will not agree with what was said from about 30 minutes to about 40 minutes into this message.

  • The bible and Christianity were established 600 years before islam was invented by muhammed who met an angel of light who claimed to be "gabriel" and spoke of a completely different gospel than what Christ preached. galatians 1-8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! now this was said 600 years before muhammad met the angel and started islam! For satan himself comes as an angel of light.

  • @ppaul64 WOOOW GOOD COMMENT, I LIKE YOUR MENTALITY

  • @ppaul64 couldnt of worded it any better. amen to that brother

  • @ppaul64 AMEN

  • Really? What about:

"I and the Father are one" -John 10:30

Tell me, if Jesus is really just a prophet, why would He say that??

  • lol

  • I love it !!!

    This is the Yeshua's message.

This is the ultimatum of God's Gospel.
