Then stood down in "71". Def. The very badest and best in the "Nam". Then went home after 49 previous months starting in "66". I still have my cav hat and 9 over 1 swords. 38 yrs and countin.
Leslie thanks for putting this together, it brings back alot of memories. Tell Spanky to do some pushups or I'll choke him out. Thats not a dip in my upper lip it's a whisker biscuit :)

You can always tell when Sgt. Brown has a dip in. And there's that one photo where it looks like he got his dip all over his upper lip.
I don't know 99% of you all, but I'm good friends with Sgt. Brown and you're all pretty familiar.

And why do they have a Infantry patch on their arm when they are Medics?

No thats a Division patch. Shoulder patch does not designate MOS(job).
