  • i love this OMG!!!!

  • Oh GOD!!!! I laughed so much!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!

  • This helped me so much on my Physical Science final!!!

  • so i was studying, and this happened. thanks dude.

  • if only he could sing...

  • This... This is wonderful :')

  • hhhhhh why all the songs that is the same of a real song is talking about science

  • Confirmation that learning science is awesome.

I am so glad I found this BEFORE my Chemistry exam, which, by a stroke of good luck, has a huge section on bonding and electronegativity.

Thank you, dancing Asian kids. I may owe an A Level grade to you by next week.

  • Okay. Somehow everyone misunderstands me. (emosob.) Yes, salt is bonded ionically. Electrons in it are transfered, not shared. Melting point: 804 C

Diamond is covalently bonded. Melting point: 3550 C.

Therefore, covalent bonds are stronger. Q.E.F.D. (Okay, I'd actually need more examples than that to prove it, but you get the point.)

Oh, and, actually, breaking a diamond IS breaking the bonds. If the bonds were not to break, how would the diamond break.

  • @jvclienk Well, breaking a diamond doesn't break all of the bonds, just those along the line of breakage. Think of cutting a sheet of chicken wire in half (that would more accurately describe graphene, but you get the point.) If you don't cut some of the wires, how will you cut the sheet.

Also, though I've never taken an IQ test, I would assume that I am far above 70, which I do believe is legal line for retardation.

  • @jvclienk (I apologize for forgetting question marks, because I know someone will attack me over that, most likely while using horrible grammar themselves. Youtube comment arguments are fun like that.)

  • actually, covalent bonds on the whole tend to be stronger than ionic bonds, although there is some overlap, but really, you shouldn't say ionic is stronger than covalent...

  • Comment removed

  • =)

  • Haha, I love the last part!

  • I Love science now!!!

  • I officially love signs now

  • TO the anion? Uhm......

  • Jvclienk is literally retarded.... when you break salt you're not breaking the bond hahahaha. and breaking a diamond isn't breaking the bonds. this is a great video lol!

  • Er, technically, covalent is stronger than ionic...

It's kinda easier to break salt than diamond.

  • @jvclienk ur a dumbass salt is bonded ionicly it has high boiling points and melting poilnt electrons are transfred not shared

  • @devilboy4life63000 simply its between A metal (sodium) and a Non-metal (chlorine) so it's going to be ionic for sure , and properties , high boiling, melting points conductor of electricity when soluble i guess i forgot the rest :D heehe

  • hahahaha LOL!

  • LOL awesome

  • Would have been awesome if I saw this before my chem test. xD

  • @Jamboomboom and o! Shad sweater. ^^

  • *headdesk LOLOLOLOL
