HUM: still one of the greatest bands to come out of all the great rock bands of the early 90s. You'd Prefer an Astronaut and Downward is Heavenward and Electra 2000 are all epic, epic amazing albums. Long live the music of HUM!!!

Hum had a sound all their own, for sure.  But if you're looking for something in the same vein, check out a band called Failure; they have a sound and "feel" much like Hum does.

The lead vocalist for that band (Ken Andrews) also had another band called Year of the Rabbit...again, very much in the same genre of music.

Also try a band called Lustre (yes, spelled that way).
