  • Ah ah Galvani first, then Alessandro Volta did the first step, then Magneti Marelli and Ducati Electrics did the rest :°D Nice video!

  • Does anyone know who is the Italian man he is referring to?

  • @georgeflacker "Itlaian man" ? The "inventor" he refers to is either Luigi Alyisio Galvani famous for making frogs legs twitch or Alessandro Volta for making a battery and who the VOLT is named after. But neither really "Invented it" It was nearly 200 years earlier than those two that William Gilbert (Englishman) coined the term "electric and about 2000 years earlier that Thales of Miletos noted static effects.

  • @MatraEtAlpine Sorry I did not know Italian is spelled "Itlaian", even in Britain. Thanks for the reference, even though I apparently happened to offended you. Damn, you really need some English syntax classes.

  • @georgeflacker no offense at any time. Just wasn't sure on your reference. AND by the way the typing error is because of my disability. So thanks.

  • @MatraEtAlpine Cool man. No hard feelings otherwise.

  • Can you please upload the whole episode because I'm from Canada and I can't use the bbc iplayer. Thanks

  • nope. Sorry, it's copyright material.

'Fraid you'll have to either emigrate :) or wait for it coming out on DVD and purchase from the Beeb

  • Or you could look through youtube for "James May's toy stories" and find the entire episode (and all the others).
