  • well i trully think i seen 1 ,,this the best description i can give you ,,see what you think,,

was like the weedy as you have pointed out ,,but this 1 ,,was really had a heap i mean a heap of like leafs off it ,like 50 times more then what you are seeing,,was like say a bushy sea dragon,, thats why i think it may have been a leafy seadragon,,

  • They're Weedy Seadragons - Leafy Seadragons only exist in VIC and SA

  • Thanks for the correction!

  • i think i have seen leafy seadragons in botany bay,, more dags hanging off better way to say the difference>?

  • Leafies have only been recorded from Geraldton in WA along the SA coastline to Wilsons Promontory in Victoria. You will only see one in an aquarium in NSW - there are heaps of Weedy in Botany Bay especially around Bare Island and Kernell

  • plus ,,,

in saying they only in 1 area,,was is it, that the ikjanji jellyfish only supposely be in top end of qld,,why is it down to fraser island,,..just another point that dont beleive what the books tell you when ppl see it in real life,,things do travel
