Like the way he admitted the only reason to kill Castro was to demoralize the people. Usually they hide behind the self righteousness of 'he's a bad man because he's a communist.' Really the yanks were pissed because Castro nationalised United Fruit, the sugar crops, and every other industry in Cuba that america had there tyranic fingers in, and the u.s lost out on billions of dollars. The US lost because they assumed the cubans were anti-castro, but they loved him.
@KurtCobain198666 Give me an American equivalent to the Great Purge under the Reds or Mao's executions? Or the Massacre at Hue? The VC and NVA working side by side tied people up and killed 6000 civilians burying some of them alive to conserve ammo. You tell me, when have the Americans (with the support of the gov't) done something so horrendous as these "heroes"?
@loserman243 It's not just the Mai Lai Massacre, there was the Inciden on Hill 192, where no one served a jail term that fit the crime. What about the 100,000 innocent civilians that were killed when Nixon and Johnson ordered the bombing of rice fields in 'Nam, knowing 95% of casulties would be women and children? I believe if the President ordered it, thats goverment supported. Terroist attacks were regular in Vietnam, and terrorist attacks on Saigon killed women and children.
@KurtCobain198666 I would like to know what evidence you have that the entire U.S. gov't willingly supported the raping and killing of innocent vietnamese civilians
@loserman243 with the incident on hill 192, one soldier was aquitted, one served 22 months, and the other 2 had reduced scentences. Is that the usual sentence for gang rape and murder? In the Mai Lai Massacre, 26 soldiers were arrested, only one convicted and served three years of a life sentence. Ron Ridenhour, a former member of Charlie Company, sent a letter detailing the events of Mai Lai to President Nixon, The Pentagon, The Joint Chiefs and Congress. Only one congressman payed attention.
@loserman243 "I would say that most people in our company didn't consider the Vietnamese human"- Dennis Bunning. Your moronic soldiers also invade countries and destroy places of worship, just because it's a mosque. Youtube, 'u.s soldiers destroy mosque for fun.' Nevermind muslims serving in the U.S army, let's just stereotype them and destroy holy buildings. That's why people hate americans.
@loserman243 So how can you say they didn't suppoert Mai Lai? The President ignored it and tried to keep it hush. That's probably because he himself ordered the deaths of 70,000 vietnamese and cambodians, when he ordered bombings of the rice fields in North Vietnam, knowing that they would only kill women and children, those are counted as genocide. So when your goverment orders soldiers to bomb civilians, it's pretty obvious how they can support the actions of their moronic soldiers.

Because aslong as Batista was in power and he relied on them then the U.S could keep draining there economy and using the cubans for practical slave labour through United Fruit, in return for U.S aid

@RadicalHiphop1 Marxist don't exist, is the most beautiful theory in this world, but the practice is horrific. Believe me you are not communist, you are a dreamer.... The question is: Why Castro chenge the "peso" or money in Cuba? there was Huber Matos there.. Sori Marin, Camilo Cien fuegos, The Spanish-communist I don't remember the name, but why change the money photo and put che only in all most and other things... why? search this quetion in youtube.
I hope the US have learned a lesson, it cannot stand against the will of a united people, a people against the imperialsim that sucks every penny out of their country and leaves nothing but poverty, prostitution, unfree health care and highschools and occupation by the white man wich produces salves
I am an Asian American, but I support the Cubans' right to overthrown the mafia dictatorial regime that was supported by the thieves and killers in the U.S. Those who said, the Cubans don't have right and that their desire to have freedom and independent for themselves is somehow a cancer, than you don't know the thieves in the U.S. robbery addictions. Thieves in the U.S. will continue to threaten the world with WMD, and I hope the world pay attention to that threat.
@PloverWI go back to Asia if you hate it so much. Or do you realize America really is a great nation compared to other countries and are just used to bashing it? Let's face it, if you said anything against Castro in Cuba, you would be institutionalized.
@loserman243 America is so great that it has killed more civials than Stalin's Russia. It has funded 20 of the world's worst dictators, including Batista. 3,000 civilians were killed by the U.S during it's 'intervention' at Cuba. 600,000 civilians were killed in Cambodia by US bombing between 1969 and 1975. in efforts to contain the 'red threat.' 3,000,000 Vietnamese were murdered over the course of about 30 years of US aggression. They have killed more that Stalin, Pol Pot, and definatly Castro
@KurtCobain198666 Haha ok. A large part of the US involvement in Vietnam was centered around preventing NVA killing Civilians. 2,000,000 South Vietnamese were killed (the side we were fighting on implying that the NVA did a majority of the killing) much more than the north vietnamese civilians killed, many of which were questioned and admitted to supporting the NVA or VC directly or indirectly. In the statistic you present, you make it sound as if the Americans were doing all the killing
@KurtCobain198666 but in fact the NVA was waaaay more inclined to kill all who oppose them. All you hear is anti-american propoganda that says we go go after those we don't agree with. Sure, the gov't tries to eliminate threatening targets at a high level and sure there are incidents like My Lai Massacre, but you are taking one event and saying it is true for all of the U.S. forces. What about the Great purge under Stalin? or the 65 Million Mao killed? And you honestly think the US does more?
@loserman243 you don't kill threatning targets that effect your country. You get involved in other peoples wars for greed. You got involved in Cuba because Castro nationalised the industries. You go to Iraq and the first thing your goverment orders is the securing of the oil fields. You do only go to war because you don't agree with other countries. But your govement only picks wars it can win, invading Cuba, Cambodia, and 'Nam. In it's war on communism it never invaded bigger countries.
La Cubre was never proven that was sabotage. The capitan of the Cubre declear in inquisicions the dockoworkers were not being safe in downloading amunition, explosives and arms.He atempted to contact anyone in sindicato and the government to take care of the safety issue, and the burocratic process of the New Revolucionary government his declaration fell in deaf ears.Look and see if you can find the Capitans declarations after the insident.Yo will not find it in Cuban documents, but so in Belgium.
Cuba kicked the mighty Satan up the ass. Terrorism can be defeated, even american terrorism, thanks to not just their hero Fidel but also the ordinary good people of Cuba, once they had deported the gangsters to Miami where they belong
Another idiot with misinformation.I guess that all thos 14,000+ cuban kids that left Cuba in 1960 under what was later known as Operation Pedro Pan were all gangsters waiting to open Casions in Habana.
" Fidel stopped the terrorists " and " almost everyone in Little Havana was dedicated to drugs". You both should thank your lucky stars everynion a daily basis if not more frequently...that you live in a country where you can disseminate this sort of misinformation and keep your testicules...you would not be able to do so in Havana.
Ooooooooh, you are so full of shit. You are not worthy of reading.EVERYONE IN LITTLE HAVANA WAS DEDICATED TO DRUGS.You history lesson sucks.Little Havana did not existed in 1960.There were only a few Cubans in Miami in 1959,and DRUUUUUUUUUUUGS was not an issue.Hippies have not even yet started smoking pot.Talking about missinformation.Get yours straight first, YOU IDIOT.
THE LAND OF THE "FREE" IS A FASCIST LAND ! A LAND THAT IS BASED ON EXPLOTATION OF OTHER COUNTRIES.A LAND WHERE WEAPONS AND BLOOD ARE THE KINGS.THE FACT THAT PEOPLE PREFER TO DRINK COCACOLA THAN WATER PROVES ONLY THAT THE HUMAN RACE IS A WEEK SPECIES,NOT THAT FIDEL IS A DICTATOR.
IF THE US HAD NO OFFER PROPAGANDA CASH THOSE CUBAN THAT RUN WOULD BE STILL IN CUBA TODAY.
well snowdnb what I'm sure is you're not a great brain., but you're right, Fidel is a dictator in his own merits, Cocacola has nothing to do. Must have been expensive to pay more than 2 and a half million cubans to get out of there... and where's my money dammit?!
Free in Miami? Hey duh, this is a joke, right? Freedom in that cesspool? 80% of cubans in the island stand behind Castro. Nobody told me. I was there.
You probably were there at the tribuna by HIS side. How long did you stay? Why aren't you there with your family? I brought mine to where I believe is better, why you guys don't do the same?
Do you believe what Miami is today was done with food stamps? Personally I left Cuba to go to Venezuela in 1994. No food stamps there, medicaid or section 8. By the way, those are plans for people with low income. Soon as they get their work permit you won't see many cubans in "Children and Family"
No many Cubans in the DCF? Bull Sh..BTW. Miami was made with 2 kinds of financial resources. 1)Venezuelan political crooks, depositing in Miami
Banks many million dollars coming of the oil crisis in 1973 in the Miami Banks. 2) The Colombian drug dealers deposited BILLIONS in the 70's, fact that Cuban exiles used to make mega deals with the Bank Managers.Of course, those managers were Cubans too.
What you say is true, but just part of it, cause venezuelans and colombians did that before the 90s, and the biggest growth of Miami is after 1990. I don't know your experience or sources, DCF statistics don't support what you say, cubans receiving low income help plans from Gov. are the smallest group and average time receiving help is 6 months for 80% of them.
Excuse me sir. but I lived in Miami in the 70's and almost everyone in Little Havana and Hialeah was dedicated to drugs. Hundreds of boats parked beside Cuban houses, were used to pick up cocaine in the Florida Traits. It's in the 70's, when appears Brickell, the Expressways and the Downtown. 100% of financial resources: Drug money.
Many cubans in Miami were involved in those activities(so was cuban goverment at the time), but to say that all cuban exiles or most of them made a living dealing drugs in Miami, is like saying all colombians are narcos. From 2002 to 2005 I worked with DJJ in Miami as counselor in juvenile prisons. I met some cubans there, but they were a minority, however cubans are the biggest community in Miami.
Well, in the 80's, I worked with a Federal Agency in Miami and trust me: We avoid to work with Cuban officers because we couldn't trust them. The Miami River Cop case is an accurate example about it. I apologize for my rudeness, but finding a decent and tolerant Cuban is like hitting twice the lottery. Excuse my frankness.
I can only agree with you about 70s and 80s, I didn't live here at the time, but the information I've seen support your impressions, only that when you are inside crime like we both were before, one sometimes believe the world outside is a fantasy. But believe me, delinquency is minority no matter how huge it looks.
You're still ofensive when justifying your rudeness, and you didn't even notice. Imagine I tell you (I won't) that "finding a decent colombian is like hitting lottery". Trying to find truth through prejudice is a big mistake. And to be honest, lefties in cuban sites are not very polite or reassonable either. Oye, podemos seguir en espanol? Me siento mas comodo en espanol y supongo que tu eres colombiano.
I'll be ready to move my ass to Cuba the next day the embargo is over. Moreover. I'm thinking to retire there. At least, I will see friendly and tolerant Cubans. No scumbag, coarse, bawdy and petulant exiles, believing they are the navel of the world.
You will not read insults from me and I'm certainly not prejudiced about who I'm talking with, that's a bad precedent to start a conversation. People reading this will make their own judgement. If you want to talk with respect or arguments I'll be here, I'm looking for the truth and I'm really not interested in your plans for retirement or your opinion about Miami, we were discussing cuban dictatorship.
You seem to be an exception of the Cuban exile that I know. How do you think the Latin people can be friendly with Cuban exiles when I listen through Radio Mambi (Through my PC. I do not live in Miami)screamming, shouting about they can't understand "why Border Patrol and Immigration officers do not arrested and deport all the illegal people."
I read like 5 or 6 insults from you against me and my response was not automatically to hate you. I'm not an exception, but I'm not majority either. What you heard in Radio Mambi is a part of exile, if you could listen to Aruca's radio you'll be listyening to another part of cuban exile. What I mean is that there are more than 2 million cubans in USA, most of them in Miami and it's so variagated as it could be in Havana.
Imagine a place where all aspects of life(education, economic, family, religious, work, housing, even food) are controlled by a repressive regime, 49 yrs now & when those individuals (Dissidents) stand up to the regime means risking all. Not just for oneself, but also for your family & friends. Cuba's sophisticated system of repression even controls its genocidal acts with such denial. One can only admire those people that risk everything in Cuba's Totalitarian system to express their opinion.
The same could be said about the United States. The only exception is that unlike the US, Cuba doesn't invade other nations with democratic leaders and /or support oppressive dictatorships if they meet the US' needs.
Do you remember, Ana Belen Montes, the Defense Intelligence Agency analyst who spied for Cuba, for 17 yrs & how she gave classified Info to Castro & co. who then sold it to Iran, China, the UN, etc...? This Cuban spy has put the whole United States of America in great peril & brought confusion to the Pentagon; this Cuban spy is directly responsible for the deaths of many great men. "Ana had access to secrets most Americans can't even imagine." Remember the "Red Wasps", huh?
Don't play us politics on me, please. This is not about Cuba. It is about the US. I know for a fact if Cuba & Castro were mighty friendly with the US, then we would not be having this discussion. The US supports any government that will bend over for the US whether willingly or not or whether the government is "democralically", militarily, or a dictatorship.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
So, it's much of the same in Castro's Cuba & its "workers paradise" where the monthly salary for an individual is about $12.00 a month. No one, no matter how good his intentions are deserves to run a country for 49 freaking yrs.
49 years with a ration book!
49 years without a free election!
49 years without a free press!
49 years of oppression!
49 years without human rights!
49 years of the exploitation of the Cuban worker!
49 years with over 200,000 deaths & 2 million exiles!
50 yrs at war with the usa , a war the usa will never win as long as you have a hole up your ass, america dictates who can and cannot trade with cuba so now who is the dictator

@Frogstomp121 the communist is beautiful theory but the practice is horrid. Because the human people is bad. Thats why I don't believe in communist dictator regimen.

It is the Capitalist system that makes people greedy. You obviously have absolutly no knowledge of the Marxist Theory.
RadicalHiphop1 2 years ago 4

PloverWI 3 years ago 14
@PloverWI go back to Asia if you hate it so much. Or do you realize America really is a great nation compared to other countries and are just used to bashing it? Let's face it, if you said anything against Castro in Cuba, you would be institutionalized.
loserman243 1 year ago
@loserman243 America is so great that it has killed more civials than Stalin's Russia. It has funded 20 of the world's worst dictators, including Batista. 3,000 civilians were killed by the U.S during it's 'intervention' at Cuba. 600,000 civilians were killed in Cambodia by US bombing between 1969 and 1975. in efforts to contain the 'red threat.' 3,000,000 Vietnamese were murdered over the course of about 30 years of US aggression. They have killed more that Stalin, Pol Pot, and definatly Castro
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 Haha ok. A large part of the US involvement in Vietnam was centered around preventing NVA killing Civilians. 2,000,000 South Vietnamese were killed (the side we were fighting on implying that the NVA did a majority of the killing) much more than the north vietnamese civilians killed, many of which were questioned and admitted to supporting the NVA or VC directly or indirectly. In the statistic you present, you make it sound as if the Americans were doing all the killing
loserman243 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 but in fact the NVA was waaaay more inclined to kill all who oppose them. All you hear is anti-american propoganda that says we go go after those we don't agree with. Sure, the gov't tries to eliminate threatening targets at a high level and sure there are incidents like My Lai Massacre, but you are taking one event and saying it is true for all of the U.S. forces. What about the Great purge under Stalin? or the 65 Million Mao killed? And you honestly think the US does more?
loserman243 1 year ago
@loserman243 you don't kill threatning targets that effect your country. You get involved in other peoples wars for greed. You got involved in Cuba because Castro nationalised the industries. You go to Iraq and the first thing your goverment orders is the securing of the oil fields. You do only go to war because you don't agree with other countries. But your govement only picks wars it can win, invading Cuba, Cambodia, and 'Nam. In it's war on communism it never invaded bigger countries.

FIDEL IS A GREAT SOUL AND A GREAT BRAIN
THE LAND OF THE "FREE" IS A FASCIST LAND ! A LAND THAT IS BASED ON EXPLOTATION OF OTHER COUNTRIES.A LAND WHERE WEAPONS AND BLOOD ARE THE KINGS.THE FACT THAT PEOPLE PREFER TO DRINK COCACOLA THAN WATER PROVES ONLY THAT THE HUMAN RACE IS A WEEK SPECIES,NOT THAT FIDEL IS A DICTATOR.
IF THE US HAD NO OFFER PROPAGANDA CASH THOSE CUBAN THAT RUN WOULD BE STILL IN CUBA TODAY.
viva Fidel !

well snowdnb what I'm sure is you're not a great brain., but you're right, Fidel is a dictator in his own merits, Cocacola has nothing to do. Must have been expensive to pay more than 2 and a half million cubans to get out of there... and where's my money dammit?!
iyamiami 4 years ago
Free in Miami? Hey duh, this is a joke, right? Freedom in that cesspool? 80% of cubans in the island stand behind Castro. Nobody told me. I was there.
eldorado46 4 years ago
You probably were there at the tribuna by HIS side. How long did you stay? Why aren't you there with your family? I brought mine to where I believe is better, why you guys don't do the same?
iyamiami 4 years ago
Coze in Cuba there aren't food stamps, either checks for Cuban refugees, Medicaid, Section 8 payments, loans for Cuban refugees, etc, ec, etc, etc.
eldorado46 4 years ago
Do you believe what Miami is today was done with food stamps? Personally I left Cuba to go to Venezuela in 1994. No food stamps there, medicaid or section 8. By the way, those are plans for people with low income. Soon as they get their work permit you won't see many cubans in "Children and Family"
iyamiami 4 years ago
No many Cubans in the DCF? Bull Sh..BTW. Miami was made with 2 kinds of financial resources. 1)Venezuelan political crooks, depositing in Miami
Banks many million dollars coming of the oil crisis in 1973 in the Miami Banks. 2) The Colombian drug dealers deposited BILLIONS in the 70's, fact that Cuban exiles used to make mega deals with the Bank Managers.Of course, those managers were Cubans too.
eldorado46 4 years ago
What you say is true, but just part of it, cause venezuelans and colombians did that before the 90s, and the biggest growth of Miami is after 1990. I don't know your experience or sources, DCF statistics don't support what you say, cubans receiving low income help plans from Gov. are the smallest group and average time receiving help is 6 months for 80% of them.
iyamiami 4 years ago
Excuse me sir. but I lived in Miami in the 70's and almost everyone in Little Havana and Hialeah was dedicated to drugs. Hundreds of boats parked beside Cuban houses, were used to pick up cocaine in the Florida Traits. It's in the 70's, when appears Brickell, the Expressways and the Downtown. 100% of financial resources: Drug money.
eldorado46 4 years ago
Many cubans in Miami were involved in those activities(so was cuban goverment at the time), but to say that all cuban exiles or most of them made a living dealing drugs in Miami, is like saying all colombians are narcos. From 2002 to 2005 I worked with DJJ in Miami as counselor in juvenile prisons. I met some cubans there, but they were a minority, however cubans are the biggest community in Miami.
iyamiami 4 years ago
Well, in the 80's, I worked with a Federal Agency in Miami and trust me: We avoid to work with Cuban officers because we couldn't trust them. The Miami River Cop case is an accurate example about it. I apologize for my rudeness, but finding a decent and tolerant Cuban is like hitting twice the lottery. Excuse my frankness.
eldorado46 4 years ago
I can only agree with you about 70s and 80s, I didn't live here at the time, but the information I've seen support your impressions, only that when you are inside crime like we both were before, one sometimes believe the world outside is a fantasy. But believe me, delinquency is minority no matter how huge it looks.
iyamiami 4 years ago
You're still ofensive when justifying your rudeness, and you didn't even notice. Imagine I tell you (I won't) that "finding a decent colombian is like hitting lottery". Trying to find truth through prejudice is a big mistake. And to be honest, lefties in cuban sites are not very polite or reassonable either. Oye, podemos seguir en espanol? Me siento mas comodo en espanol y supongo que tu eres colombiano.
iyamiami 4 years ago
I'll be ready to move my ass to Cuba the next day the embargo is over. Moreover. I'm thinking to retire there. At least, I will see friendly and tolerant Cubans. No scumbag, coarse, bawdy and petulant exiles, believing they are the navel of the world.
eldorado46 4 years ago
You will not read insults from me and I'm certainly not prejudiced about who I'm talking with, that's a bad precedent to start a conversation. People reading this will make their own judgement. If you want to talk with respect or arguments I'll be here, I'm looking for the truth and I'm really not interested in your plans for retirement or your opinion about Miami, we were discussing cuban dictatorship.
iyamiami 4 years ago
You seem to be an exception of the Cuban exile that I know. How do you think the Latin people can be friendly with Cuban exiles when I listen through Radio Mambi (Through my PC. I do not live in Miami)screamming, shouting about they can't understand "why Border Patrol and Immigration officers do not arrested and deport all the illegal people."
eldorado46 4 years ago

FreeNMiami 4 years ago 2

FreeNMiami 3 years ago
Don't play us politics on me, please. This is not about Cuba. It is about the US. I know for a fact if Cuba & Castro were mighty friendly with the US, then we would not be having this discussion. The US supports any government that will bend over for the US whether willingly or not or whether the government is "democralically", militarily, or a dictatorship.

FreeNMiami 3 years ago
Once again, it is not about Cuba. It is about the US. I wouldn't be surprised if someone knocked on my door and killed me right now.
And besides, the US has been run by an even worse regime then any sort of dictator could ever be since 1903: the rich and knowing
