I also have a Wireless laser mouse 6000, and i got the same problem.....
it doesn't work on any surface, looks like laser technology for mouse is not that good....

this happens to most laser mouses....
they dont do such good work, i spent $100 on my wireless laser mouse 6000 and i'm not proud of it...
