@elpatosmith I don't know of a 20 or 30 round but ProMag makes a 15 round. MidwayUSA and Cheaper Than Dirt carry them. Don't be scared of the bad reviews they have revamped it. Get one with a model number ending in A3
Who makes high capacity aftermarket magazines for these. I just bought one today, this is a great looking gun. I had a High Point a long time ago and never had issues with it. Bought it cheap and sold it for as much as I bought it for years later. I'm looking for 20-30 rd mags if anyone knows where I can get these, I sure would appreciate the help.
@elpatosmith well it would be high point that makes them but they haven't made a high cap magazine for the 995 :/ if they did i wouldn't be able to get it anyway due to there be a 10 round limit in rifles and hand guns in new york state.
I want one because it's got so many rails on it, I have a bunch of accessories that are just dying to be put back on something, they're left over from a 10/22 that I had all tacti-cooled until I changed it up.
I just traded my browning .22 pistol for one of these straight across. Great guns for being a hi-point. i also have the hi-point .380 acp which too is a good gun for being fairly cheap. Since i had the 995 i've put on a holographic red dot, lazer pointer and tactical flashlight! Fun too shoot!
Hi point makes a great gun people just are naturally minded in the way that they think if it doesnt cost enough for me to take a loan out to buy it it aint good. To them I auggest they read a little on guns and learn a little bit....

It's sad they even make these things...its sad Hi Point even exists. These are the biggest pile of garbage, pot metal play school plastic junk guns I've ever had the misfortune to shoot. That thing quite possibly has the worst trigger pull/feel in the history of triggers...just sad. I am also curious about the longevity of these as well given the absolute garbage materials Hi point uses...I'm sorry man but that's money down the drain.
If you are a gun slut or a rich guy then why even look at the video. I run a pawn shop and I sell a shitload of these in every caliber and never have anyone complain! I put about 2-3000 rounds through my first generation 995 and have not had half the problems that I had with my berretta storm 9mm carbine. so if its me I go with the reliable thing maybe not the prettiest, but the fuckers put lead downrange everytime
@skintothebone88 yeah this guy doesnt know what hes talking about i love shooting my 995ts. Yeah the trigger is kind mushy but who cares, it goes bang every time i pull it.
@typetwelve i have a 995ts and it has never failed once, after over 1000 rounds without cleaning. obviously a $200 rifle isnt going to be top of the line. for the price, reliability and lifetime warranty you cant go wrong. only a dipshit like you would expect a high point to perform like an m16. go polish your thousand dollar gun and fuck off.
I just picked one up the day after christmas. Cabelas had them on sale for 170. With my gift cards and points i pretty much got it free. Going to try to hit the range on thursday.
I have not had a problem with the cheek slap. I think my wife is going 2 want 1 also. Mine came with the foregrip. Think I'll add a red dot. Check out ammoman, they get in some Fiocchi 130gr fmj every so often. With my F1 chrony it averages 1150fps. This stuff is made in Italy..not ozark,mo.
I just bought 1 from cabelas.$249 plus tax. It shot 10 rounds in a 3in circle out of the box. This is a great new system they are putting together. Can't beat it
I got it to the range and it ran like a champ. I have since added a fore grip and a red dot scope. I wish they would do something about the cheek slap you receive when shooting it. For the price though, I will deal with it.
dude, just got mine at Cabelas, with 2 coupons i got it down to $180!!! then i added my $50 gift card! i practically stole that shit!!! LOL havent shot it yet though, cant wait!

yeah i dont get any cheek slap. its a 9mm it barely kicks plus it has the buttpad that absorbs it all.
