The entire intro consists of hammer ons and pull offs, so once you strum the first note, you can continue to hit the rest of the intro without strumming again. That's why I'm able to use two hands, and don't have to strum. If you're unfamiliar with hammer ons and pull offs, try sitting through the tutorial that the game offers on them.
Justin is clearly fake. Can't you tell that his fingers aren't in the right places and aren't moving fast enough during certain parts? If you want to see some good ttfaf playing, check out iamchris4life and jnukes2.
wow. No diss or anything, but your hands are very sloppy...just weird that you get such a high score and your fingers are like everywhere...maybe I shouldn't be so strict with my fingers lol
Degu1: If you're talking about when I use two hands, that's a technique called tapping (in case you didn't know). Also, I don't really designate my fingers to certain buttons. I pay attention to the notes coming up, and I use the best fingers I can think of to hit them. I also slide my fingers along the buttons often instead of having to switch fingers. Other than that, I'm not sure what you could see as sloppy. Maybe they're just moving too fast for you to comprehend ;) Hahah.
No I didn't see you tapping, but I do know what that is. I'm just saying that your fingers don't hit the buttons very accurately. And I have been trying to do the same thing, where my finger isn't assigned to a certain button, but I just can't get it down, the only thing I do weird is slide from green to red, even on like g/r trills lol.
how do you know this is not a fake? he could just put on the music on his computer and then just play on his guitar but he is not actually playing the game?
You're right. It could easily be a fake, but as I mentioned in the video's explanation, I uploaded this video only to show a few of my friends that requested it. If you don't think it's real, don't watch it. I don't care.
Ladytidiris, in guitar hero there is a concept called hammer ons and pull offs which involves hitting consecutive notes without having to strum. On a real guitar, you are able to do this by "hammering on" or "pulling off" to another fret because the string is still vibrating. In the game, these notes look different than regular notes. The entire intro consists of hammer ons and pull offs.
I can't imagine how you would be at a level where you're attempting this song on expert if you haven't even yet realized the concept of hammer ons and pull offs. The notes that you can hammer on or pull off to have glowing white tops, and yes, you can play the entire intro that way. Just go to the tutorials section on your guitar hero 3 game and watch the tutorial that teaches the technique.
i do the part at 5:19 exactly the same way!! haha nice run man!

Well my friends know it's real, so I'm not really concerned with what other potential viewers could think.

OOOH cool.
So do you just like...strum once and it works for the whole intro? i am confused. I've been trying to do this song on expert FOREVER

thanks for the vid tho
AzNKiRbY09 4 years ago
Haha I know everyone tells me I have the strap on backwards, but as weird as it may be, I find it easier to adjust it when it's that way.

And also, kudos on using the explorer :D
