2:54: you need to learn how to taxi a really long aircraft... Generally you wanna keep the main wheels on the centerline, not the nosewheel. Also, if the runway's that short, you wanna be as close to the end as possible and then hold your brakes until you've got full power (short field takeoff).

Also, anything's possible if you've got JATO's. :D But yeah, at 6700 feet, it's a little short for a 747 (Even 9000 ft's cutting it close).

i know it is part of the special effects but the haze and fog made it hard to see the aircraft for a good chunk of the film. I prefer to see the aircraft or inside the aircraft at most times. Also we never got to see the plane take off... i think you did a good job with editing though

I use something called "Multi Crew Experience" (which you can try for free for up to 7 days). I get to talk to the virtual co-pilot, and have him turn dials and flip switches for me. I can even talk to ATC controllers. Technically, all you need is a headset with microphone to check it out.

it's not about just a good graphic card. you have to have a fast processor to be able to generate the scenary. I'm sure you'll have some lag, but minimal at best.

@Plamen2007 Well yeah your system is ok run FSX with high and ultra high settings tweaked here and there with the sliders around but you cannot get maximum outta it yet as even the ones with quad core and 8GB of ram are lacking frames at places around so i guess FSX is something which never gets enough out of anything but i would say yes you would do ok with FSX but not with everything turned on like DX10 ,bloom and ultra high settings.

@BROOK3ZY Yes it would play your FSX with just about good FPS but not with the highest settings possible you would also have to work around with some high and low slider settings around tweaked in a good way to experience some nice visuals and performance as well,because the 2 main problems i see around is the RAM you have and the DDR2 graphic process what i recommend for FSX is at least DDR3 to get good over all experience.
