My family was able to spend the most amazing week of our lives at Give Kids the World this month. It is a remarkable place. Thank you for everything! Thank you for bringing us hope and the wonderful family memories we will always treasure.
I love this video, and I love being a volunteer at GKTW even more! I sometimes think I get more joy out of volunteering there and the families have staying there! It's an amazing, magical place and there's no place I'd rather work or volunteer.
My 14 year old son (Sean Molyneaux) and myself and my fiance and my nephew were just all there in March/April 2011. Sean had no energy & was at the point where he wanted to give up on life. When it was time to go back home he didn't want to leave. He tells everyone about GKTW. Saying THANK YOU could never be enough you provided more than just hope you also provided fun, laughter, support, friendship, acceptance and most of all smiles and lots and lots of love. Take care and god bless you all.
Yes, this video is all so true! It really does make a difference. To know how bad it can be, doctors, hospitals, tests, needles chemo and then how good it can be. The future is brighter just by staying here. We hope to go back to volunteer when we can. There is so much more that they do that is not in the video.
I agree God in in the village as well as the people who run it and volunteer there. My 14 year old son, myself, my nephew & my fiance were just all there in March/April 2011. My son got his wish granted from The Children's Wish Foundation here in Canada.
Our family spent 7 wonderful days at Give Kids the World in 2004. We still talk about all the fun we had there and even though our son died in 2008 from cancer, he always told people about Give Kids the World and what an awesome place it was! Thank you so much!!!
