@123highman321 A shaved head feels cool(not warm). Staying cool is important especially during physical training or when wearing a helmet. You save on shampoo, just a few drops will produce plenty of bubbles. No hair will stick to your pillow when you wake up in the morning. Don't have to bother with combing.

Takes 2-3 months to grow back, but usually it grows back like a mini spiky Afro mushroom. You'll have to go to a barber and get the hair trimmed to resemble more of a civilian haircut.

I remember the guy that cut my hair also spoke spanish. As he was cutting my hair, he told me (in spanish) to do exactly what they tell you to do. Make your drill instructor proud. Still cracks me up today but he was keeping it real.
