  • some of these arent cathedrals

  • How did Guildford cathedral make its way into this line up?

I'm sorry for all your Guildford cathedral lovers out there, but It's sooo ugly!

  • 'province of canterbury' - lol! sorry, that sounds funny to english people - usually we just call them towns :)

  • Cities, surely, if they have a cathedral?

  • @Londonfogey City status is granted by Royal Charter, Guildford has a cathedral but is a town. Brighton & Hove became a city in 2000 but has no cathedral.

  • @animotioned Province means a collection of dioceses usually headed up by an Archbishop. There are two Anglican provinces in England, Canterbury, which includes most of the South and York which includes most of the North.

  • about 99 percent built while England was still Catholic....before henry took over as pope of england

  • Wow! Rarely do I find two of my favourite things in one video, but here they are! English Cathedrals and Widor's Toccata.

    Wonderful combination.

    I love it!

I also wonder who is playing and on what organ?

  • Who is the organist playing the toccata? (It's very well played.) And on which organ/in which cathedral?
