  • I dont allow NBC in my home, likewise CBS, ABC. Going on 5 years now no television. Try it you'll like it.

  • i love how christie is always so respectful

  • If you're a Conservative don't you yearn for a Presidential debate between Gov Christie and Obama? This guy would obliterate Obama.

  • @GRQUNDHQG Haha i have always thought about that

  • Draft Christie for president!

  • They always have to throw a fat joke in, I hate the liberal media

  • HE is the problem,,,

  • LOOK AT THE SPOOF ON CHRISTIE...LOL THEY MADE HIM A MAFIA MAN...LOL"SHUT UP"...LOL

  • Where do you live ? Where I live the students are the best in the state. If they are not where you live there may be other factors beyond the reach of the schools. You know, the schools get blamed for EVERYTHING and educating children STARTS in the home . Blame it on the competitive nature of our society - but it is time for all of you to get a reality check. Teaching kids today is not easy because of very many factors, too many to even list - the worst being uninformed people like you.

  • I may be thankful if he can manage to get that show banned.

  • Let's see have you feel when the education in NJ goes down the tubes. No one will able to go into education because the job needs compensation since we don't make the hundred of thousands or millions and never will. And let me know how you will feel when your kids or grands want to be teachers and you ruined it for them. Christie is the hero of the limited and small minded.

    Matt -

    shame on you.

  • @notyalc38 they are all ready. how you seen how that kids are being tought in schools now? they are not. they are being dumb down. so wake up. before this is all gone!!

  • ppl hate this guy are laid off loser teacher ahahaahaha

  • Recall the bum

  • why doesnt he tax the rich? oh wait hes a republican, the rich are exempted from sacrificing.

  • @nba2020 Wow, ANOTHER person bad at math. NJ already has the highest tax rate in the US. The millionaires tax the dems want would raise about 600 million. The budget deficit is 11 Billion.

  • @nba2020 The top 1% pay 40% of the tax revenue, and the top 10% pay 70% of the tax revenue. The bottom 50% pay only 3% of the tax revenue. So to say "the rich are exempted from sacrificing" is a little ignorant.

  • @Bobbyasu42 Amen... the problem with liberals is that it's STILL not enough. They're not happy until the "rich" pay every dollar of taxes to shower goodies on the folks who contribute nothing.

  • Mr. Christie is an obnoxious man. I love how he promised certain things to get elected than changes his mind. What a jerk. I want to see HIM make concessions: pay out of pocket for some things. And perhaps lay off the office lunches??

  • @SamChad2009 If you only had a brain...and education..you may understand that it's the benefits that are sucking up taxpayers' money

  • @circusmaximus10 hahaha I do have a brain AND an education. I hold a masters degree in nursing. And I know firefighters here HAVE made concessions in regard to their benefits. And they deserve their compensation for the job they do day in and day out. They risk their lives for scumbags like you, decrease their payscale to help their communities. And you want them to give up everything? EVERYTHING? They pay taxes and into social security and medicare and pay for welfare recipients just like you.

  • @SamChad2009 Doubtful about you on all accounts. These leeches do NOT pay for health benefits which amount to $22,000 per year per family...If you are a taxpayer, which I seriously doubt, then you should be concerned

  • @circusmaximus10 Well, I don't know what to tell you. All accounts are completely 100% true. And I AM a taxpayer. I AM concerned about the rich being protected from more taxes so they can become richer. I AM concerned about the billions of dollars pumped into the welfare system and there are no checks and balances in place for THAT system. People take advantage of that system that's for sure. Maybe we need to look at that as well.

  • why is chris christie considered a republican? his views seem more aligned with democrats. or is he just a super liberal republican?

  • He's a conservative Republican.

  • Christie looks like a potential contender on America's Biggest Loser. Like to see him compete on a celebrity edition of that one. Maybe he could give up the Ho-Hos and jelly doughnuts.

  • this guy is a legand!!!!

  • Wow. An obnoxious 450-pound guy who can intimidate women. He's the Porky Pig of corporate greed and corruption and the corporate media loves his fat ass.

  • @Vox91 And you must LOVE your govt' checks.

  • Fat tool...

  • @JLP4444 You mad? Sorry the world doesnt wanna pay for your lazy ass anymore.

  • @Snwbrder698 Calling a fat guy fat. How original for someone with no argument. You're most likely on target with your assessment of his brilliant remark.

  • @JLP4444 That your best?

  • @JLP4444 Okay?

  • @WWCons Clearly you didnt read my post. I was responding to JLP4444.

  • @Snwbrder698 I'm sorry. I messed up there!! Merry Christmas!

  • i love how the today show crew starts cracking up at 5:00

  • THERE'S SO MUCH A MAN CAN TAKE MATT!!! lmao.....I love this guy

  • I've learned to fall in love with a politician. But so far, I am approving of what Christie is doing, wish we had some leaders like that here in California.

  • Christie 2012!!!

  • @bella50008 are you still for Chritie after he's endorsing Romney?

  • @abeismain ...I am always for Christie. I really wish he would have run. I am not for any of the GOP candidates to tell you the truth. None of them. I think it will be a slam dunk for Obama - he has zero competition. However, if Christie had run the entire Democratic Party would be sweating bullets right now. They're safe.

  • matt lauer is such a pussy its unbelievable... oooo eeee, dont piss off people that get pissed off... ooooo eeeee.. what a piece of trash lauer is..

  • @AurelioErik Matt Lauer is just the tip of the iceberg. You wouldn't believe the Man-ginas we have in America these days...the men are all trying to become women and the women all want to become men. Veira and Couric have more teeth than Lauer. I remember the hoopla over him losing his hair...so girly.

  • Badass!

  • Comment removed

  • I am really impressed with Chris Christie. Matt Lauer is always to the left politically and questions all in the GOP agressively. I don't often see him give democrats the same treatment. Having said that, I really appreiciate what he said that public employees must also help with their 11 BILLION budget deficit. I had not know that they got FREE health care for LIFE and paid NOTHING while they taxpayers paid this bill....that is simply not fair

  • Go Chris! You're doing a great job! @njgina

  • Chris Christie for President 2012!! What needs to be done is hard but it needs to be done.

  • Good Interview! Christie is the man!

  • Wow! Christie put Matt on the mat with those last comebacks!!

    Go Christie!!

  • 2016 is when he should run for Governor. Don't pull a Palin and go 2012

  • fuck chris christie

he's the reason the government took away $6000 of scholarship money that I had for college :((

  • so raise taxes.if teachers quit imagine?why not require all all parents to home school.tell citizens to do thier own police work.

  • @cloogerdude yeah make 75k after 25 years of work, with a master's degree...really overpaid

  • fiscal conservatives are just fine its the social cons that make my stomach turn

  • teachers do it because they love it LOL! that's priceless, yeah....

  • Love this guy's attitude. We need more of him in the political arena.

Just think what we'd end up with if the majority of the people in office used common sense, ignored and refuted the special interest influence. I need to understand better his clean energy position before I allow the man crush to continue, however....

  • " I do not think you can lead out of fear" Gov. Chris Christie, that has to be one of the most true and brilliant quotes ever. If only our President and Congress had that courage.

  • @irisojects Thank God we have somebody on our side who's not afraid to underpay teachers.

  • @JamboCordoba you miss the point. The unions are forcing cities and states into these dead end contracts that puts all the weight and requirements on the cities and states to complete them. That's complete bs.

Plus the lady is a friggen moonbat. "You don't compensate me for my experience and my job" then she follows up with "I do it for the love of the job" when she gets told to take a hike. She's full of crap. She's addicted to the Money Teet of the unions and that's pathetic.

  • @SunwolfNC Doing something for the love of the job doesn't preclude wanting to be paid fairly for doing so. At the end of the day though, this entire discussion misses the point. We live in a system that rewards some combination of amorally directed moderate intelligence, luck, nepotism, greed, and sociopathy, a system that benefits those who aren't doing the work. The meritocracy, inasmuch as it ever existed, is dead. You can call me a partisan democratic hack, but I condemn Soros too.

  • @irisojects It's obvious though. Nobody should lead out of fear. It's a truism. Lauer played right into his hands. What kind of question is 'any fear of fallout'? The real question at hand is whether we value what teachers do enough to compensate them fairly for their labor. It's the other side of the question of whether CEO's should be compensated so obscenely for what they do...which in the grand scheme of things isn't much more than protect the assets they haven't "earned' in the first place.

  • @JamboCordoba This really not a slam on teachers. If i was a public employee I would be looking forward. If the private sector fails, there will be no one to support the public sector. Sure there are fat cats on Wall St., but you have them in the public sector too. Just recently the city manager of Bell,Ca.was getting a salary of close to 700,000 a year. Is that right? The unions are the villains in my book.Promises that can never be kept, lies that stir the emotion of entitlement.

  • “If some men are entitled by rights to products of the work of others, it means that those others being forced to provide are deprived of their rights and are condemned to slave labor. There can be no such thing as the right to enslave even for the welfare of others.” - Ayn Rand

Statists (Progressives, Liberals, Socialists, Fascists & Communists) HATE liberty & promote SLAVERY to Big Govt, the crony political class & their banking & corporate oligarchy masters.

    “Money as Debt” on YouTube!

  • @yakyakyak69 So why then do we allow Capitalists to continue capitalizing on the work of others? Why do CEOs collect the wealth produced by the toil and sweat of a million workers? Why do we continue to accept a system that makes use of actual, unpaid slave labor in the third world? Why is a distant brown man's labor worth pennies an hour while an American CEOs organizational techniques are worth millions a year? Your class struggle is displaced and inaccurate, friend.

  • @JamboCordoba Simple Human Nature...

“If some men are entitled by rights to products of the work of others, it means that those others being forced to provide are deprived of their rights and are condemned to slave labor. There can be no such thing as the right to enslave even for the welfare of others.”

Capitalism is an excercise of Free Choice Offer and Acceptance.

Socialism is forced slavery which kills Risk vs Reward free market dynamics by rewarding failure & punishing success.

  • @yakyakyak69 If you're truly opposed to 'some men being entitled to the rights of the work of others," then it only makes sense that you should be opposed to Capitalism. Very few men being entitled to the rights of the work of enormous populations of others is fundamentally what Capitalism is.

We're free to choose our masters within the confines of a system that limits our horizons immensely. And we're not even the ones who are really getting screwed. What do you think about human nature?

  • @JamboCordoba No company is entitled to your labor. You have the FREE Choice to work someplace else or start your own business.

When you save money and buy a house, or a car or invest in a business to make your life better and perhaps sell at a higher price, then you are a capitalist.

When your are forced to give money to bail out a company which did not earn it by providing you with a product you wanted, then the politician is a crony of the corporatists & you are a socialist slave.

  • Gov. Christie sends a tingle up my leg! Matt Lauer is a leftist weenie sissy-boy. Christie is the MAN! That smarmy teacher pulls down 85K per year, plus bennies, AND she's a union shill who doesn't give a darn about her students, the parents of her students, or anyone but herself. If she wants to be compensated for her education, let her get a job in a private school, - which I DOUBT she could do. Christie can clean up Jersey and then America.

  • Never support Cap and Trade! It's a job killer! Renewable Energy Beware!

  • LOVE THE GOV! WHY SHOULD HE "FLY UNDER THE RADAR"? We elected him to do a JOB...not HIDE in Trenton!

  • I see a lot of praise in the comments thread. I'm always weary about supporting someone I don't know much about.

I'll have to read up on this guy before casting a judgment. If he's as good as some of the comments here make him out to be, then he very well could be a nice contender for 2012.

  • @LoryLandskipper America voted for this jackass OBAMA and noone knew him. This man is telling you more in 5;24 than we learned about Obama in election cycle

  • @LoryLandskipper He's the fiscal version of Guiliani. He will not please conservatives on social issues. He best serves the party as the governor of a relatively blue state.

  • Gov. Christie is our man for 2012! He has style, grace, quick thinker, NOT political correct, straight shooter, honest & refreshing!

  • I absolutely LOVE this guy!

  • This guy is my hero - love Chris Christie!

  • @dsknj lmfao. you're a dumb fuck. This fat idiot needs to leave office now. If he's going to take out our education, He better start thinking about leaving. LEAVE NEW JERSEY. NO ONE LIKES YOU. I DON"T KNOW WHICH IDIOT VOTED FOR CHRIS.

  • @Iluvboyslikegirls100

Hell be president soon Moron - go back to your union meetings

  • @Iluvboyslikegirls100 let me guess, you are the assistant to the assistant manager at Radio Shack...

  • @Iluvboyslikegirls100 If no one likes him then how did he win the election? Liberals are so open minded that they just don't understand how other people could think differently than them. Be Honest. What you really hate about Christie is that he reminds New Jersey Liberals of what a piss poor job they have done and where their policies have left New Jersey.

  • CC is beginning to look more and more like RP. those 2 need to get together!

  • @Livefreerevolution dont soil Christy with the presence of Ron Paul.....

  • @Hellpig how can i soil CC with a Rep. with the stature of a RP? its one of the highest compliments i can pay the man

  • @Livefreerevolution because he doesnt need the whackjob and senile old fuck Ron Paul spouting his crazy ass conspiracy theories.....CC is smart enough to not let RP near him ...it is political suicide

  • @Hellpig Yeah, his crazy conspiracy theories like how the banking industry was going to cause a huge economic depression in the U.S., or that having military bases in other countries might make those people think we are imperialists...how insane can you get? Seriously, people like you need to stop regurgitating what the TV tells you to think.

  • @LawyerScumGhost people like you need to do America a favor and wash your mouths out with buckshot...save patriots the shells........fucking paulinian...pick a side or get the fuck off the field

  • @Hellpig It's attitudes like this - "pick a side" - that further empower the corrupt, crooked two-party system in this country. Until Americans wake up and realize that there isn't a lick of difference between the two parties' champions, we're stuck in this hellish Groundhog Day.

  • @Hellpig So what are the options in terms of "sides" we're supposed to pick?

  • @JamboCordoba Sides?

Capitalism has freedom to choose and to be held responsible. Some win, some lose but ALL can raise themselves up by working hard and smart. They are FORCED to work hard and work smart because they cannot FORCE others to pay for their mistakes.

Socialism allows some to FORCE others to pay for their mistakes by taking some of the rewards of their labor for themselves against thier will. THIS slavery always collapses when the socialists run out of other people's money.

  • @yakyakyak69 What are the bailouts if not us paying for the mistakes of irresponsible financial institutions? Are we not all paying for BP's "mistakes" (myopic corner cutting maneuvers)? When someone else exploits my labor, I'm paying for him to get rich. By definition, Capitalists exploit the wealth produced by the labor of the working class. It's been proven repeatedly that upward mobility in America is primarily a myth. Class determines consciousness as much as consciousness determines class.

  • @JamboCordoba You are VERY confused.

The bailouts were not capitalism! They were crony-corporatism where crony politicians redistributed taxpayer money to their corporate backers. This is a form of socialism.

Capitalism is where you SAVE your own money and INVEST it in hopes of making a profit knowing full well that you could lose it all because you don't have the right or ability to force others to bail you out if you screw up.

Employment is voluntary, forced redistribution is NOT.

  • @JamboCordoba rightside and the wrongside

  • the only thing CC said that was PC is that he agrees with barry soetoro on 'anything'! because everything this wall st usurper has done is against the Constitution, limited gov't & spending with COMMON SENSE approach being the last thing barry has done in re. to any policy except if you're a fascist / marxist / control freak manchurian candidate

  • Matt Lauer is an idiot.

Chris Christie RULES, the leftist media DROOLS!

  • @NWsubmom Funny Rhyme. Libbies get Cross-Eyed and Stutter when Faced with Facts. I still Laugh every time I think of Howie Deanie's Red face!

  • @3martijns I'm with ya there! When faced with fact's, LIBERALS look like they need an ENEMA!

    ESPECIALLY HOWIERD DEAN.

    LOL!

  • @NWsubmom 11-02 is when Demmies get their Enemas.

It is also the Day we Clean House, and take out the Trash (Libbies), and Throw away the Garbage (Radicals).

  • @NWsubmom Christie is AWESOME!

  • @NWsubmom

    hear hear!

  • @NWsubmom Yes, Lauer is a complete moron.

  • @NWsubmom I didn't think Lauer was all that bad in this video, despite his questions being rather pointed. I would have loved Christie to run for president, he is not your average politician, he actually answers your friggen questions!

  • @smokedsquirrel Please!

I'm sick and tired of the obvious media bias to the left!

They fawn over everything Obama does, and attack or report with obvious dislike, almost every Republican with the exception of RINOS like Huckabee or Pawlenty or Meghan McCain.

The reason Fox is so popular is they filled a need. The need was finally having ONE station that reports the republican or conservative side of things. People were tired of changing TV newschannels and hearing the SAME talking points on all.
