Haifa sings great songs, in addition to looking beautiful. She has so much presence and personality. Unfortunately, she will never be popular in America because Americans aren't used to listening to Middle Eastern music. Too bad.

Actually no Middle Eastern music is actually becoming popular in the US. However, Haifa wont make it because she's just a pretty face and pretty faces come a dime a dozen in Hollywood. They look for amazing talent nowadays something to go with the beautiful face. Sorry I know you posted like 2 months ago. Haifa is beautiful though, but shes just not Hollywood material.

Yes, it's unlikely that Haifa could become popular in America. I think the main barrier is language. Not many people listen to foreign music.
But if Haifa were to appear on American TV, she might create a sensation. Haifa is exotic and intriquing. She isn't just a pretty face. She has personality and charisma.
(Btw, the only cosmetic surgery to her face was with her nose -- nothing else.)
Americans would be surprised that a sexy woman like her is a popular in the Arab world.

You're right. and I agree with FrankCoffman that language is a barrier...but ultimately it does matter on talent. Look at Shakira...she had a language barrier, but the talent was there. She was already huge in south america. Haifa is going to have to work on her own arab audience and win their hearts before crossign over.

On Al-Jazeera, the person behind interviewed on behalf of this succesfull bank, said that the people of lebanon are very insecure, but a lot of money can be made out of it. From looking at this Haifa video, it makes sense why so many people in the country are wanting to have cosmetic surgery.

I agree. Every fan of hers and non-fan knows she plastic from head to toe and it is pretty obvious from her before and after photos. Though she isn't natural, and wear's a lot of makeup-she is still pretty for some thirty-year-old. And her songs are great.
