  • Sure would love to hear Celine's American Cousin Joanna Lauren a young American related to Celine's Mom - sing something like this with someone so awesome as, James Horner! She's not posted this as a cover song yet - but does have a few other Celine songs.....BOTH WOMEN AWESOME - but the younger girl has the voice and the beauty!

  • James Horner's Music and Celine's Voice makes a great combination because....It's perfect. Don't forget that she also did My Heart Will Go On also with James Horner too.:)

  • The young lady is the one played Miracle Worker!!!

  • I love Celine and this is one of my favourite songs. Brilliant!

  • This is the only movie that can make me cry.

I have watched this movie for the first time approximately on March 13th, 2004.

This movie has been with me through out my life.

I could never forget this movie's name, it means so much to me.

My interest in life is technology, robotics, artificial intelligences , ect.

To see that an artificial Intelligence turned into a living one, made me take up a revelation. And that was:

"Be glad to be of service" -Andrew Martin

  • This Movie will always be my favorite.. watched it more than 5 times.. and i will never get tired of it.. makes me cry always, love the song too

  • where can be this version of song found? was it ever released in this version?

  • i love this movie and song

  • Which film is it?

  • James Horner and Will Jennings must be exceedingly proud of the performance of this song by Celine Dion. They should team up again and write a 100 more!

  • What she say on 0:44 - 0:50 ?

  • @TheDaRkNeeSLoRD "As the great Andrew Martin used to say, One is glad to be of service."

  • To All Concerned: Ignore all comments posted by '' thedreamwithin88 '' because she was WRONG in ALL her remarks! When I challenged her on this, she coward out & closed her account because she knew that she was WRONG!

All the Info & Facts that I've posted about Nana is from Wikipedia and are Correct ,Confirmed and Documented Facts! Not False, But TRUE FACTS! Universal Music has tracked & documented all of Nana's Album sales Worldwide! She is the Highest-Selling Female Artist in the World!

  • In 1961, Mouskouri performed the soundtrack of a German documentary about Greece. This resulted in the German-language single Weiße Rosen aus Athen ("White Roses from Athens"). The song was originally adapted from a folk melody by Hadjidakis. It became a success, selling over a million copies in Germany. The song was later translated into several languages and it went on to become one of Mouskouri's signature tunes.

  • @BearStar1 all the info you listed is false & can't be confirmed. nana's label simply inflated her sales as do all labels. the difference w/ madonna & celine is that their sales can be supported by certifications. nana is not even close. you need to look at the certifications each country gives & go from there. the biggest music markets in the world include the US, japan & europe. nana's certifications are low in all those regions except for europe & even there madonna & celine beat her.

  • @thedreamwithin88 Documented facts from Wikipedia,

Nana Mouskouri, Born October 13, 1934, in Chania, Crete, Greece

Singer, active 1958–2008 Labels: Fontana, Polydor, Mercury, Verve, Philips, PolyGram, Universal Music France. Has sold nearly 400 million records in a career spanning over 5 decades,

  • @thedreamwithin88 WRONG ! All the Info I posted is CORRECT & DOCUMENTED ! ALL from Wikipedia, Confirmed! I didn't make anything up ! I've researched & that is what I came across! No BS, all confirmed FACTS! NOBODY in the World has her achievements in music ! Nana had many labels that she recorded with and they have not inflated her any of hersales. Universal Music has documented all of her

Album sales worldwide and they have confirmed that she is the highest -selling female artist !

  • At the 1960 Greek Song Festival, she performed two more Hadjidakis compositions, Timoria and Kiparissaki. Both these songs tied for first prize. Mouskouri performed Kostas Yannidis' composition, Xypna Agapi Mou, at the Mediterranean Song Festival, held in Barcelona that year. The song won first prize, and she went on to sign a recording contract with Paris-based Philips-Fontana.

  • In 1957, she recorded her first song, Fascination, in both Greek and English By 1958 while still performing at the Zaki, she met Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis. Hadjidakis was impressed by Nana’s voice and offered to write songs for her. In 1959 Mouskouri performed Hadjidakis' Kapou Iparchi I Agapi Mou at the inaugural Greek Song Festival. The song won first prize, and Mouskouri began to be noticed.

  • Nana Mouskouri's childhood was marked by the German occupation of Greece. Her father became part of the anti-Nazi resistance movement in Athens. Mouskouri began singing lessons at age 12. In 1950, she was accepted at the Conservatoire. She studied classical music with an emphasis on singing opera. After eight years at the Conservatoire, Mouskouri began singing with her friends' jazz group at night. Mouskouri left the Conservatoire and began performing at the Zaki club in Athens.

  • Globally speaking, Nana Mouskouri is the Highest-Selling female artist of all time. Her fluency in multiple languages -- Greek, French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese,German, Latin, -- enabled her to reach audiences all over Europe, the Americas, and even Asia. Possessed of a distinctive, angelic soprano -- the product of having been born with only one vocal cord -- Mouskouri was sometimes described as Europe's answer to Barbra Streisand.

  • SONG STARTS At 1:36 :-) enjoy

  • If I could sing like her for just one day, that'd be enough...

  • i love songs like this that make me feel raw emotion

  • 67 peoples never looked by anyone

  • beautiful song

  • sorry FREE it came out before.. my son nick was born jan 24th 2000 i played the soundtrack to this when i was pregnant with him 99 was the release date for this film.. its an amazing movie and amazing score

  • This song reminds me everytime I hear it that we don't live forever and to make the most of life and love and never regret loving someone so special that you would do anything for that person for their love in return.

  • @hindineberg93 NO, YOU ARE THE JOKE & A MORON !!! NANA MOUSKOURI IS THE HIGHEST SELLING FEMALE ARTIST WORLDWIDE ! Fluent in 8 languages, She has sold More than 230 Million disks worldwide, recording 1,500 songs in 15 languages on 450 albums. She has more than 230 Gold and Platinum Albums worldwide with a total record sales in excess of 300 Million, Making her the highest selling female Artist of all time in a career that has spanned 5 decades ! These are facts from wilkpedia that was googled

  • @BearStar1

I don't know who's Nana Mouskouri is, whose the hell you're fooling with huh? Celine is the biggest selling female singer/artist of all time, you must have known this fact., here in taiwan, there's no such singer as Nana Mouskouri, so i'm so sorry for you,

  • @jojoembate NO, YOU'RE WRONG!!! These are facts from wilkpedia that was googled. Do your research

  • @jojoembate No, I'm so sorry for YOU because YOU are so IGNORANT !

NANA MOUSKOURI IS THE HIGHEST SELLING FEMALE ARTIST WORLDWIDE ! Fluent in 8 languages, She has sold More than 230 Million disks worldwide, recording 1,500 songs in 15 languages on 450 albums. She has more than 230 Gold and Platinum Albums worldwide with a total record sales in excess of 300 Million, She is the highest selling female Artist of all time in a career that has spanned 5 decades ! I'm not fooling with anyone!

  • @jojoembate : Nana Mouskouri born October 13, 1934. She was singing professionally for years before Celene Dion or Madonnna was even born! Globally speaking, Nana Mouskouri is the Biggest-Selling Female Artist of ALL time. Her fluency in multiple languages -- Greek, French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese -- enabled her to reach audiences all over Europe, the Americas, and even Asia. She performed concerts all over the world for 5 decades! She is now 76 years old and retired!

  • @BearStar1 While Mlle. Mouskouri has been around longer than the two artists that you have mentioned... Globally speaking she is NOT the best selling female artist of all time. take the time to look it up. while C. Dion and Madonna have been able to claim the title... out of the three Dion still holds the title. It does not matter how many languages a person speaks... it is how many they sing in that counts. And mlle. mouskouri is NOT fluent in 8 languages she is only fluent in 3

  • @CaitrionaMaireOlghar No, YOU are so WRONG !

NANA MOUSKOURI IS THE HIGHEST SELLING FEMALE ARTIST WORLDWIDE ! She is Fluent in 8 Languages, She has sold More than 230 Million disks worldwide, recording 1,500 songs in 15 languages on 450 albums. She has more than 230 Gold and Platinum Albums worldwide with a total record sales in excess of 300 Million, She is the Highest selling female Artist of all time in a career that has spanned 5 decades ! And that is the Facts that I did look up !

  • @BearStar1 there are many things taken into account when awarding the tite of best selling female artist of all time. If you know anything about Dion's career... She's been singing for more than 3 decades and she is only 43. She started at 12. Mouskouri didnt nor did Madonna. From 1981 to 1999 Celine has released at least one album per year never missing, sometimes she had teo and one year she had 4 out. Madonna nor Mouskouri can say that. Im not much of a Dion fan... im more so into Enya

  • @CaitrionaMaireOlghar the vast majority of celine's sales came from her 13 english albums. only a few of her french albums actually had any significant sales (although they broke french sales records, the market for french language music is much smaller than english)

  • i love the song and the movie...love its meaning!..for both song and movie...

  • хорошо что барби не поёт а то пришлось бы разводится

  • i love this song! i didn't really like the movie but this song is amazing!!

  • this woman is an inspiration!!!! truly a shining star!!!

  • @quielsys Celine Dion is Great BUT , NANA MOUSKOURI IS THE HIGHEST SELLING FEMALE ARTIST WORLDWIDE ! Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Celine don't even come close !

  • What a Amazing Film, one of which Robin Williams should have been awarded an Oscar for! Beautiful Song at the closing, one of the best that I have ever heard by Celine Dion. This Movie will make one stop,.. think and wonder? If someday in Mankind's near future if mankind will be able to produce and manufacture Robots that resemble humans, then the robots becoming Androids, and will they wish to become like Humans?

  • @BearStar1 That film and "What Dreams May Come"

  • If they become Androids mabye but if we create Macdroids they will become T-800, and iOS will be Skynet/Siri

  • @BearStar1 That appears to be the technical meaning of parts of the movie. But I believe the movie makes you think that even if you have the opportunity to continue living, nature has a different path. Andrew could have lived, but without Porcha. And she could have continued as well when Andrew died. It is a real reflection on living without those who make your life have meaning.

    1943-2008

  • I remember when this movie came out..in 2000, I was 15 years old, living in New York, and I have to tell you guys something. I know this is Science Fiction, but for some reason This movie will always stay with me forever more. I can't wait until I'm 90 years old and play it on my futuristic DVD player or whatever!! Robin Williams and Olivier Platt did it for me and the rest of the cast!!! I watched it 2day while i was cooking Thanksgiving..All the reason I am an actor/writer...

    Queens, NY =))

  • @freedomland11 I watched it when I was a 7 year old kid with nothing to do. When I had chicken pox, my mother brought me my first box of Lego bricks and this movie. With all the fever, and the excitement, I realized that my greatest dream was - and still is - creating this machines, being one of many who began connecting Science Fiction with reality. I swear to you, this was my first own Revelation. Now I'm 18, and I'm beginning to do quite impressive stuff.

Sorry for my bad English, btw.

  • still gives me the goosebumps and im in tears :(( huhuhuhuh

  • this movie.. and this song... means a lot to me... i love Celine... i love Robin and i love the storyline of Bicentennial Man... its so true... i'd rather choose to live one lifetime.. than live forever to see how everything wilt and die before my eyes.

    watch?v=AM4oGVBJJZ4

  • hi Rommyisme...:))

Pls view it from an objective perspective, unnecessary to draw me into the equation. I believe most shares the view of the two actors with their skills in character roles and the befitting tunes and lyrics sung by Celine to support the movie. However, this epic reminder thru this film is profound and let it project it in that context... we all have differing opinions nonetheless and lets respect it ... enjoy yr Saturday night out at a choice chosen movie.

  • Love this song! soo beautiful

  • I never knew this song was in the movie, I'd only heard it on her decade of song album, but it very much fits everything, excellent!

  • great, thanks for posting, we're having a great family moment remembering one of the best songs and best movies of all time.

  • I like this movie song too. I recognize the looks of Robin Williams and Sam O'Neil, both are my favorite character role actors too. I just wonder how we will all be looking at life in just under or another 50 years from now... I'll be 110 yrs by then... will most of you too? Life is wonderful to me and I hope you all are as well...:))

Stay healthy and take care.... cheersch to all.:))

  • @UgoIgo they can play pretty much anything. Mostly character actor associates with one type of character. Say, bebie in frasier. She was a character actor. She has to play a strong woman who has something behind her. What you try to say and I don't try to diss you is that they are both versatile.they can play pretty much anything from robot to old woman. I mean how many roles can you play?

  • whats the name of the film

  • @jescaj123 bicentinnial man

  • love the song

  • nice outfit.:) go girl.

  • I never get tired of this film.

  • good movie ^_^

  • Beautiful song she so wonderful, What a gift she is to us, I'm talking about Celine Dion. God has truely blesses humanity with such a wonderous gift.

  • an awesome film how you would change for true love

  • this film makes me think...."how much human am i?". Such a beautiful movie..

  • One of the top 20 movies ever made, fantastic all the way through!

  • i guess this makes two movies that make audience cry

    1:E.T.

    2:bicentennial man

  • They had to use this as a trailer or trailer song. Wrong type of marketing. Thus us ak byt a comedy. It is a drama with comedy features. One of the best movies ever.

  • Such a beautiful song for a beautiful heart centered movie. Why it got lower reviews than expected, we'll never know?

  • @planosuperman86

It was advertised as a comedy :(

It was a bad choice for the marketing campaing.

  • @mmanuzzi COMEDY?!!!! I definitely wouldn't call it a comedy. I would've called more of...I don't know (Definitely not Comedy)

  • @mmanuzzi

    Sounds just like Click

  • @mmanuzzi AS A COMEDY??? you have to be kidding me it does have some really funny scenes but it shows you a great insight into humanity and romance a truly epic moive

  • @CymruAlteran no he mean the trailer...how it was represented before you see the movie...but I like your point in the end sentence.

  • @rommyisme ah right I didnt mean to offend anyone and I have seen the movie trailer it does seem set as a comedy, well anyway a lot more people have seen it these days so people know its not just a comedy.

  • @mmanuzzi the movie was misunderstood as light-hearted...that was what I felt about it too, but then if you watched the movie, it's a serious drama that will put people in that audience off! the song was perceived to be too dramatic even tho it suited the movie perfectly.

  • @planosuperman86 Because the movie sucked that'd be why.

  • @gregtheinfinite It was good.

  • This movie honestly makes me SO sad.....I hate movies that "fly past time".

  • 1:19 quancuno mi sa dire come si chiama l'attore?

  • 4:31 and down woww

  • I liket
