I would like to see the various fictional Lord Of The Rings warriors and armies, examined with the science of the show. Star Wars too, if possible. If they ever run out of ideas, they could recycle characters, like Ninja vs Gladiator. I think the warriors might have a rock/paper/scissor effect, rather than being ranked like a totem pole. Interaction is measured, not raw deadliness. Spartan beats Ninja, but Ninja may beat Pirate, and Pirate may beat Spartan, for example of r/p/s effect.
Spartan warrior is so fckn hyped.. spartans sucked in 1v1 or even small groups fights,they were only good when they were in a phalanx (spear wall) formation,and if the phalanx broke or was outflanked they were pretty much fucked,the only reason why they won the most reknowned of their battles,trafalgar,was because there was no way for the enemy to outflank them.
@p3vvp3vv no they didn't. the Spartan training regime was also heavily based on individual survival and fights. of course the source of their strenght was the phalanx, but Spartans were great individual warriors as well. they were masters of Pankration and used it in the most violent ways. if you are trained from such a young age in nothing but war you become a perfect soldier. and the Spartans were deadly soldiers in both phalanx tactics and one on one fighting skills

the spartan is not a good in single combat. they were designed to fight in groups. without the group, a spartand would be a headles chicken. in fact their shields are useless without a formation.

From what i read and study Spartans from age 7? i believe were trained to fight kill and do anything for the good of Sparta.

This show is the most dramatized piece of bullshit I've ever experienced. It's littered with a plethora of historical inaccuracies and it's dramatized to the point where the show isn't informational at all. The Waffen SS did not issue out the C96 Mauser to standard Infantry, only the airforce. The Spetsnaz GRU has replaced the Makarov with the MP-443, GSG-9 is outphasing G36 in favor for HK416's. In the end, the Deadliest Warrior gets all of their information from video games and movies.

There are so many different variables that come into play in combat. Example: Vietcon vs German SS, VC would win hands down. @tolaros2 Halberd hook to the shield drag them to the gound and follow up from there. Besides no weapon of the spartan except the shield can do ANYTHING to the knight. Morning star goes around shields too. Besides we're not talking army V Army it's mano-a-mano. We've established in the deadliest warrior forum that the spartan would lose so bad to the knight.

If they fight on foot,a knight can't carry lots of weapons:
1ST CASE:main weapon Halberd.
a)It's a two handed weapon=no shield
b)You can't mount morning star around your waist,very cumbersome dangling around
2nd:main weapon morn.star
c)no halberd
3rd :main weapon sword
d)No halberd
2+3 are good because knight can use his shield.Then he could probably win because of better armour

This show is the most dramatized piece of bullshit I've ever experienced. It's littered with a plethora of historical inaccuracies and it's dramatized to the point where the show isn't informational at all. The Waffen SS did not issue out the C96 Mauser to standard Infantry, only the airforce. The Spetsnaz GRU has replaced the Makarov with the MP-443, GSG-9 is outphasing G36 in favor for HK416's. In the end, the Deadliest Warrior gets all of their information from video games and movies.

The show is stupid and spreads ignorance and idiocy. You can't claim warriors of difference eras superior from one another simply by comparing their weapons. There are so many different variables that come into play in combat. Example: Vietcon vs German SS, VC would win hands down. The German SS were not trained to combat the fighting style the VC brought to the field. The very style that defeated a much more technologically advanced United States. Plus many more examples.
