Hitler did not aspire to "conquer the world" like the popular mythology goes. He barely even had a navy at the time WW2 started, something absolutely necessary in order to acquire and maintain a global-straddling empire.
In fact, he had appealed to Britain (who DID have a world empire) on numerous occasions, seeking an alliance and mutual understanding. If Hitler had colonial aspirations , he wouldn't have been pleading for peace even after the fall of France in 1940. It's common sense.

@deshaebeasley i think the gold standerd is kinda stupid. yes its a rare metal but its not very useful at all. the value is cycological and we should abolish money all together and go for a resource based economy. if i am selling a radio and i tell you the guy next door has something better i loose money (profit motive) so you see you cant be ethical in a monetary system. abundance and efficiency is also a negative in a monetary system. look in to the venus project. or watch zietgiest 1 and 2.

I'm into history and whenever some "historian" was talking only about one side it about some historical period he was telling only half of the truth. You don't get whole image from Mr Tarpley. That is my point. It is possible he is telling the truth but from one side view and that is dangerous.

Tarpley makes very good points here which most historians and others don't. Primarily the Thule society and that Aryan/Teutonic mysticism that Hitler was involved in with as well as Chamberlain and other "race" thinkers. Like the vast majority of modern and post-modern leaders, Hitler was a tool of larger interests.

@paulagloria The German POWs all wanted to be captured by the Western Allies. The Soviets just weren't into the Rig Veda. They had a system of 1700 slave labor death camps to run, aka the Gulag Archipelago to keep their economy afloat. Those millions of German POWs in the Soviet Gulag didn't come back, they died, except for a small handful in the mid-1950s after being Soviet slaves for a decade..
