This is actually one of the "good" remakes. Tomi is great and doing an amazing job both live and in the studio, but in my opinion the remakes are not the best the band could have done, at least vocal wise... Still - like :)

I think they'll re-record it too. First a compilation of first three albums (Karelian, Tales, Elegy), then a compilation of next three albums (Tuonela, Universum, Far).
@Cursarion I don't know about that. I like Tomi as a singer, but his voice doesn't always work the best for Pasi-era stuff. Some of the stuff from Elegy worked since that album was sort of the "midpoint" between Tales and Tuonela, and had a bit of a different atmosphere than the other stuff with Pasi (which tended to be less metallic and far more prog-like and subdued)

The sound quality is better than the earlier version, but the tempo such as if you playing a tape in a bad deck what is stretching this cassette. :-(
