Chavs only buy shooters and football managers (and recently guitar hero even though none of them actually listen to rock), and this have meant Japanese developers have used the US as a test market and then decided if it should be popular over here. Of course, a lot of people here want to be american and play what's popular there (even PC version of Madden). But although we are more in line with Japanese tastes in games they will never come to Europe without testing in America first.

oh god seriously has anyone ever finished this damn game. ive just got 3 discs before sidney spangle decided to quit his 1 man effort! i had a week and a no.1 album. annoyed? yes. yes ... but anyway, get this game. its remarkably addictive, remarkably unforgiving and bloody marvellous fun. it used to be available for all good amiga emulators, but may not be now. just make sure you delete that rom before 24 hours have passed ;)

Oh it is, i had it on the speccy and Amstrad, I only really chose the Amiga version as it was the best looking one of the bunch, and the footage was boring enough to go through. theres no animation in the game whatsoever, just text and static images.

You know what I've always liked about Codemasters? They have a weird outlook on games. Honestly, I don't think I'd play this game in particular. The NES days though, I did dig those games. They were certainly different when compared to the rest, which is a great quality!

They had some all time classics on the NES, like Micro Machines Etc. but they did have some generic cookie cutter reloeases too, like Bignose the caveman (ironically a rip off of a series of books called Little Nose the caveman) and Quattro adventure was a rehash of old Spectrum games with nicer graphics.
