Actually the graphics are unbelievably advanced, sure blood may not squirt out upon every hit. But you can bet your ass that the detail in every single model in this game outranks World of Warcraft and that isn't even the most important part. The gameplay is astronaumicly enjoyable. It is definetly the ultimate pass-time. Of course if you are one of those no-life idiots who practically plays World of Warcraft as a profession, this may not be what you're looking for.

This game was ok except for the fact that PvE is excrutiatingly boring (except for public quests) and the scenario PvP encounters are trash. I guess the only REALLY good thing about this game are the castle siege world PvP. But even that is ussually unbalanced because there are to many Chaos players and not enough Order. Its a game that you play when wow is patching or its tuesday morning.

Get a life, and play something that acctually meets the graphics standard (NO ONLINE GAME DOES IT, YOU'VE GOT TO ASK WHY). Why can't they make an option for checking your level of your video card? You might not remember your comment on a Warhammer Online video but I have something to say to you. Graphics arent everything! And sure WoW's graphics are bad but Warhammer's are very good for a MMO! One, you are probably comparing it to games that arent massivley online and, two, games on the pc like crysis or xbox games like Grand Theft Auto IV. So i you'd rather play a absolutly real like game with shit gameplay fine by me. but if you want moderate graphics and unbeatable gameplay play WAR.

Do you even know why Warhammer has good graphics for a MMO? The reason is because there is no MMO which meets the standard graphics of today. Another channel can simply be created to give your avatar another graphics percpective on the server. But it hasn't been done. And I play games with the graphics and the story, so do not fuck around with what you do not know. WAR does NOT have the moderate graphics, nor any other MMO, face it. ok these guys are paladins they are a heavy armour class that looks like a warrior but can heal things like DnD, magic call these guys paladins but in the warhammer world they are called something els and if they were to change it that would ruin the warhammer universe in this game and I think some knights who fought in the srusade were called paladins but I dont know if thats true

This came should be confirmed for ps3 and 360 because too many PC people think this is a clone of WoW.This could mean they would stick to WoW only, seeing as most mmo players play it. Console players such as myself dont have a very good mmorpg on any system and many who dont have a good comp to play mmos would gladly buy it for ps3 or 360.

Read the blizz interviews about the influences of WoW, theyre not ashamed to admit that Warhammer played a huge part in the created of the Warcraft lore. Um most people whine about how wow sucks because it peaks sometime after 60. I got my pally judgement and pvp grew incredibly dull. nothing kept me wanting to play.

Mythic knows how to keep pvp intriguing and similar to what they did with relics in daoc, there will be a constant realm effort to maintain dominance in RvR frontiers...

Of course, u r probably use to WoW's pvp, so you dont know of true pvp that is fun beyond the first few times of Warsong gulch then u realize u can afk and win

WoW is the best game, when considering classic MMO play style. That play style is so ancient by now, what good reason would I have to grind hours in order to achieve a certain item? It's not a game, it's sounds more like work, a commitment.

I've never taken WoW seriously. It does suck pretty bad, it always did, right from the beginning. It's not a game, it's a chore. The game isn't design to be fun, it's designed to be addictive.

Likely to the paladins in DAOC since Mythic is making this as well.. Paladins (or Warrior Priests) will be similar to caster/melee hybrids and do good dmg.

Remember that WoW yanked paladins around and after beta they had a huge identity crisis.. melee tank w/ priest abilities.. no wait we are clerics in plate armor.. no wait we are full out healers but we have weapons to auto-swing attack with... afk for 5 min while i killThisMob

If you have a high detailed MMO you will need a monster pc. It has to load a huge area compared to Gears of War. I bet Bill Gate's pc wouldn't even be able to handle that. It is becouse of the big area's and alot of players. For instance when I walk in Orgrimmar (WoW - Horde) it has to load like 40 charecters or more. GoW is more like 5 or something in a small area.

This game is more innovative then people realize. I am a proffesional video game artist so I understand how complex of a problem it is. Not to mention this game is in alpha, if you looked at a couple games in alpha you would realize all games look like shit in alpha. Yes I have, And it is all mini game pvp and small sqrimishes in arenas. I hate mini game pvp, they are not going to have massive enough fights. I usually see 25 to 30 people in any of the screenshots at once. WAR is going to have hundreds, think helms deep from LOTR, War is more like that.

Its going to be hundreds of players siege weapons against an ememy capital. I don't want little brawl fights I wan't Epic War. Your kidding yourself if you think AoC is going to support numbers anywhere close to WAR's battles. They each have their graphic trade offs. not to mention I haven't seen many games that pull off realism. It mostly just looks look failed attempts at realism. I much rather perfered a stylized look. Exageration just looks so much cooler to look at then plain jane realism.
