  • picked 5 and got 3...

  • any number-x

    x*2

    2x+4

    (2x+4)/2=x+2

    x+2-x=2

why the limitation of 0<x<11 ?

  • I didn't get 2...is something wrong with me?

    pick a number:7

    x2=14

    +4=18

    /2=9

    I thought of 15

    15-9=6

    I got 6...did I do something wrong?

Or is this whole trick crap?

    Just asking.

  • @ThePieceOCrap What I meant about the number you first thought of was the number you picked.

  • Any number here will work

  • @65AnimeCara65

why 11-2? you have to subtract the number you have picked before, that was 9, not 2!!!!!!

  • I got 3!!!!

  • boring,

  • boring,

  • 0 doesn't work lol!

  • try reading the instructions carefully

  • And it can work with negative : E.g -999.

  • If you pick Zero, it still works.

  • @cat9854xdeadx even if you take an imaginary number (e.g. i) it will work

  • @cat9854xdeadx even if you take an imaginary number (e.g. i) it will work

  • I want to Show why it is 2 . So let call the number you think x. So (2*x+4)/2-x=(2x+4-2x)/2 which is 2. Whatever x you think thé answer Will be 2.

  • it cant be negative

  • @heygotem : if you subtract 4 and add the first number it works

  • dude it works for every number .. lol

    i picked 111 , and i got 2 .. so its not 1-10 its 1-infinite.

  • mine was 5 actually!

  • for some reason i had a negitiave number

  • i picked 2 and got 2 . :P

  • Here's a better one. Think of a number Add the number of pounds in your pocket. Minus the number of siblings you have. Multiply by 2. Add 3 Take away the number of Pillows in your house. Multiply by 3. Divide by 2. Multiply by 12. Add up all the digits in your answer. Keep adding until you have a 1digit number. Is that number 9? Yes? I'm a genius! First to reply to me on how this works will get me as a subscriber.
  • but what if we dont come up with all those number like you and we think of another number like 4 then what do we do? like this:

9*8*5*4+5-5+6-21=1435 see i can come up with some retard things why cant you do something like that

  • but what if we dont come up with all those number like you and we think of another number like 4 then what do we do? like why dont you make a video with some humar sence in it ok

  • but what if we dont come up with all those number like you and we think of another number like 4 then what do we do

  • @65AnimeCara65

You did something wrong. If you picked 9,

    9x2=18

    18+4=22

    22/2=11

    11-9=2!!!!

  • It doesn't have to be between 1 and 10. It can be any number. And it always comes out to 2. Here's proof. X is any number.

    Pick any number ... X

    Multiply by 2.... 2X

    Add 4.... 2x+4

    divide by 2..... X+2

    subtract original number (x).... 2

    Always works with any number......

  • i picked 8 too.........

  • this is old one that we use to do in middle school....easy if you say to add 4 than u always get 2

so whatever number u say to add u get half of it

  • @65AnimeCara65 it should be like this

    you picked 9:

    9x2=18

    18+4=22

    22/2=11

"first number your think of is nine so you will subtract 9 from 11"

    11-9=2

  • @rayven123456789 oh.....so the instructions shouls say "THE FIRST NUMBER U PICKED"

  • There's a zillion of these around, some use 7, some use 5, but they're really just making you undo your operations, and the number you picked.

  • if you pick 1 it doesnt work but you can do any number but the #1

  • Nahh It still work.

    1x2=2

    2+4=6

    6/2=3

    3-1=2

  • Lol i used pi (3.141592654) and still ended up with two. And yea he never said it couldn't be a decimal.

  • @SHKmaster yeah even decimal i forgot to mention it

  • well what you are doing is just coming back to the same position where you started from

  • I picked 8 too. Freaky...

  • LOL ur example is the one i picked

    WEIRD

  • dumb

  • @VitalSigns1 like u

  • U DUMBass i invented the frikin trick

  • Are you crazy??? I saw this trick on my math book.

  • rellly? cool...... sry anyway

  • Yeah i know that is too easy

  • setup the equation and you get x+2-x, which is always 2

  • (2x + 4)/2 - x = 2 its not too hard to solve it, x here is the nr chosen that proves that it doesnt matter

    (2x + 4)/2 = x + 2 and then - x is 2

  • another one that is cool is this. (works on any whole number, even negatives!!!!!!!!!)

    think of a number-double it-add 6-cut in half-subtract original. always get 3!!!

    ex 1: 4x2=8 8+6= 14 14/2= 7 7-4=3!!!!!!!!

    ex 2: -2x2= -4 -4+6=2 2/2=1 1-(-2)= 3!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude you are plain stupid. this is easy, its just reversed.

  • That is awsome.

  • cool
