  • oh shit man this is a good tutorial. you really shouldn't be revealing these "secrets" man

  • i cant find FM8 in fl studio where do i go

  • Things can be so easy! I didnt know about the semi-tones, now i get it! Cheers!

  • Did u ever realise BooBass spells Boob and Ass lol

  • Does a midi have to have a pitch wheel?

  • What's a good midi keyboard with pitch bender?

  • @2theothers2

    M-Audio's Axiom midi keyboards

  • Thanx so much for your tutorials!

  • hey bro i just wanna tell you is that i been watching your tutorials for awile now and you have helped me a lot . thanks man !

  • semitone? haha half step maybe

  • your speaking habits annoy me... your like william shatner....or however its spelled...you just keep putting unnecessary pauses between words

  • So when will image line hire you as their new FL Guru?

  • I was just listen to Bush talking about song structure and now i am listening to Bill Cilton.

  • how do i adjust mouse sensitivty so it moves faster the pitch?

  • How do professional producers make their beats come to a sudden stop? What Im actually talking about is when the beat sounds like it going down in pitch or and tempo... ??????

    Help...

  • @ReKtheMusic They use it in Adobe audition..they use in effects->Time & Pitch-> either one of those 4 options pitch bender (process), Pitch Correction (Process), Pitch Shifter, Stretch (Process)

  • @ReKtheMusic it's called a tapestop, bro. check out dblue glitch.

  • Hey. I already knew how to pitch bend. But... I don't know why does the FLStudio's is different from any other MIDI sequencer's.

There's a MIDI I downloaded and it sounds good on any MIDI composer program. But when I open it on FL Studio, the pitch changes a lot and sounds weird(not as low nor as high as it should sound, depending on the pitch automation).

Do you know why? Why FL Studio's pitch bending is different from the rest?

  • How can I use for another scales? There's a link that shows a "pitch scales"?? :)

  • hi You are a genius one can u plz help me for

"how to remix a song which is not a accapella" Because when ever try to make a remix of a original song the background music with acapella makes it not possible to get it done. brother I dont know any other software like abelton or etc I trust only fruity loops so kindly plz make a tutorial on it. plz its a urgency.

  • @tinkupinku01 my advice is to find an accapella, every producer has to dig through the vastness of the internet for their samples.. BUT if you have the instrumental that is the same quality as your song you load both of them into fruity loops via Edison and reverse the polarity of the one that is just the instrumental. if the two tracks match up perfectly your left with the accapella. its rare tho, most of the time its shity quality, there is probably a video for this

  • @dudeonthasopha Thanks buddy can u make a tutorial for it to make it more clear for me. Ur comment helped me a lot thanks for sharing Knowledge.

  • Is it really necessary to use real equipments 2 use Fl Studio?? Cuz i want to get Fl Studio but idk if it'll work without equipments because i don't have any equipments

  • @vb7e8 You don't need anything but your computer (and mouse, speakers, etc of course) to use FL Studio.

  • yo nice channel man i like your beats check out mine when you have time

  • Excellent, Thank You !!

  • yo, where do i find the pitch bender in FL9?

  • So THAT'S how u use that...finally sum1 explained it perfectly!!! Great job man.

  • amazing tutorial, thanks a lot NFX.

  • thanks D and warbeats you are an amazing teacher keep up the good work and let me tell you something i'm sure you already know but i am going to remind you that you are keeping good music alive with the computer musician theory lessons God bless you and do not let the internet idiots get under your skin or the people that do not break rules a true engineer know mistakes and experimenting can make a project take a better or worst peace

  • i wish u would show us u'r hands doing the thing....

  • how do u Edit/quantitize the pitch bend ..cause when i record and play it wont let me do any of that....on my piano roll its just a straight line.. and it plays the pitch bend but i just dont kno...do i have to play perfect when i record my notes and do a pitch bend?? i gotta learn how to fix this!

  • im more into metal music, is there any video of your that makes realistic sounding distortion guitars, with harmonic bends? like a dimebag divebomb? dont know what a dimebag divebomb is, youtube it. please get back at me. btw ive been using slayer with dist rock and metal guitars. thanks

  • br ur tutorials are amazing they really are. but they are boring lol. I dont mean to be rude. but maybe do something to spice them up? i dunno. bottom line is u have helped me so much. so thansk and just trying to help out abit.

  • @MistaMayotte they arent suppose to be fun. it's like going to FLSTUDIO class.. and nfx is the professor.... its fun if u enjoy learning how to make/alter sounds and make your music better.. dont listen to her nfx, your shit is amazing. ive learned way more than i could've learned but just messin around with it myself.

  • where do u get fm8?

  • I'm assuming this produces the same effect as using the "slide" in the piano roll right?

I have a disability with my hands, so I can't play the keyboard or guitar and record that way. I am limited to using the mouse to place all of the notes into the piano roll.

And, thank you, NFX, for putting all of these videos up. I've learned a lot from you.

  • the warbeats website is amazing!

  • Hello nfxbeats! Thanks for all the great tutorials... you are very good at teaching... you know.. having knowledge and skills about something and teaching are different... I was wondering if you could teach us mastering technique in detail...

    anyways.. I love your videos!!

    ciao ciao!

  • i need some help, and sorry for my bad english! I dont realy know what is MIDI keyboard, but i think it is a little eletric piano :) so if i dont have that can i use my normal keyboard (this) to just play some sounds-like a piano :)

  • Wow, man. You're doing a great job, keep up the great work! I really appreciate you using your own time to do all these tutorials for us. It must take hours of editing...so, thank you, very very much :)

  • where can i get FM8?

  • again very helpful!

  • I want FM8

  • Hi NFX, i know this has little relevance to this tutorial but do you know how to MIDI connect an alesis DM5 Drum Kit to FL Studio 'Cus i'm having no luck.

  • got a problem

when im on the piano roll and i use the pitch blender when im recording and i delete the note where i used the pitch blender and i put a new note around the same area, it pitch blends when im not even blend pitching it.how can i make it not do that?

    help is much appreciated

  • @901kid yo nvm i got it

  • yo i have 2 questions:

    1. when you sample a sound you always hear it faster when you hit a higher key and slower when you hit a lower key. how do you fix it so that it has the same stretch overall keys?

    2. how do i cut out the drums of a sample without removing the music itself?

    thanks

  • @Brank00

I think you have to use the granulizer.

  • Hi bro

Can you please tell me what the application name you use to make your videos?

or can you make a tutorial showing what program you use and how it is done?

I really appreciate it your videos are awesome

    Warm regards

    Pls reply

  • whats the site name to show what keys are alowed

  • NFXBEATS I GOT A GOOD IDEA FOR A FL TUTORIAL FOR YOU.

I LIKE TO SEE YOU USE FL STUDIO TO MAKE,

ICE CUBE - WHAT CAN I DO (REMIX).

THIS TRACK WAS SAMPLED FROM: ROGER and ZAPP INTITLED: "MORE BOUNCE TO THE OUNCE".

  • Another great tutorial. Thanks!

  • BADASS TUTORIAL!!! NFX you are the BEST!!! thank you for being who you are. You are my idol, and teacher, lolz real talk.

  • Dude, I exaggerate not, you pretty taught me almost everything I know about mixing in FL Studio. Your vids are VERY HIGHLY appreciated! THNX 4 the tutorials, keep 'em coming!

  • if u go to the 'misc' too ;)

  • Sadly the pitch weel on my mpk25 is a piece of shit but thanks for ur time nfx

  • @koolord use automation clip.right click on the pitch knob on your channel settings window of your sample and automate it.

  • wow me gusto eso sabes todo lo que se y poco mas es grasias a los tutoriales muchas grasias por subir tutoriale deverdad se los agradesco

  • cheers bud...always wondered how to make it sound right

  • This is great for club bangers. Thanks (:

  • THANK YOU!

  • mate, have u got a tutorial on bite rate in the audio settings as my sound plays up and crackles when i play things like synths and strings. plz help me.

  • @rickycole88 Go to Options (at the top left), then Audio Settings, and set the buffer length (Slider) and bring it all the way to the right. That should solve the problem.

  • try upgrading your soundcard, get an external audio interface from a music shop to bybass the standard soundcard. had the same problem but now i can have like 50 plugins going with no crackles. they're bout $120 bucks

  • Oh cool, it simulates string bending.

  • thx for the video

  • how get that fm 8????

  • Great. I'm looking for a technique that could allow me to bend vocals and sounds. For example, a sample voice that say " hello" I wanna bend it like " helloooooooo" basically make the end of the word longer. How could that be possible, many people have discovered that technique on their own: that's admirable.

  • I know what you mean... I am using a demo version... but I'll find a way to figure something out...

  • @koollord autotune

  • @ruusky415 Autotune: is that a different program or is it like a VST, plugin or what?

  • @chimichuri1989 vst tpain uses it all the time

  • It's a VST, Antares Autotune VST - You can download it on Piratebay and just install the vst in your vst folder.

  • ftry using something like the new Gross Beat that was implemented in the new fl studio

  • another great tut bro. Very informative as usual

    keep it up man

  • useful. thanks.

  • I find this information very valuable. Simple & basic, yet, very powerful if you're in the moment and let the music flow. Believe me guys, this is probably all you need for effective pitch bends to work!

  • nice well done :)

  • ratathyge <3

  • why do it the hard way if you can do this MUCH MUCH easier ?

just use the SLIDE (dubbel click on a note in piano roll and put on SLIDE !)

  • @DJSeiKo

You can't double click on a note in piano roll with a MIDI keyboard. :3

  • doesnt work with all the vst's

  • @ja24

true, but the vst's where you cant do that,

there is probebly a GLIDE function.

    Thats the same..

  • lol

  • NFX, i think that settings you changed in FM8 doesnt affected at all, because fl9 stock knob is still moving (so the number you entered there is used and not the plugins one?). so you need to change controls of that particular plugin's pitch bend to your midi controller. I dont know, maybe im wrong, but can you confirm that?

  • Very informative tutorial as always! Although the high noise sound I hear when you talk or sometimes when you play the synth hurts a little bit haha

  • C Eb F Gb G Bb C - Pentatonic minor scale.

Bending up to D is not a bad idea sometimes. Can spice things up.

On the whole, good vid. Thanks!

  • forgot to mention that the scale he uses is a C pentatonic blues scale.

  • great tutorial!

  • did this really need to be a 13 minute video?

  • general midi states it bends at 2% up or down.

  • great as always

  • umm.. i dont even kno what i am anymore... 8th?

  • Awesome title name.

  • first
