The music is so beautiful. It begins when they gets grandpa from the hospital, and grandpa wakes up and say 'musika'. And then later we see musicians hanging in the trees. The music in this movie is second to none.

I have just seen it again. There is so many cool scenes in this movie: The pig eating the Trabant is just one.

If i should make a top 3, it would be:

1: Blazing saddles (the ultimate funniest film)

2: Black cat, White cat

3: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (by Terry Gilliam)

@sheemesh23 chaos, drama, humour and love (almost forgot cool music) - Emir has it all in his films. That is why an old man (born 56) loves his films. I remember before 82, and far before - the funnist and most intelligent films came from (then) CZ - they were funny, because they had to 'cheat' the sovjets, to be made. And they always was full of black humour. And they were always very intelligent.

@dkjayjay I am so happy that you know Czechoslovak films - we were federative state before 1993 and many Slovak actors acted in those films...I have really huge archive of Czechoslovak films - directors like Forman, Menzel, Sverak, Smoljak, Slovak Jakubisko....One of the best Danish moviemakers I know is Lars von Trier....Sometimes strange, but very special....:)

@sheemesh23 Thanks for your kind respond. My attention to CZs, and other eastern european films, was mainly waked by (in the 70s) having seen some of them on danish tv.

One film, that has been rumbling in my head sinse the 70s, is one about a barber. In danish it was called: Af med håret. As i remember parts of it was shot

with fish-eye lens. If you know this film, i would be very happy if you could tell me about it.
