How quiet is that Xigmatek fan? And what RPMs does it run at idle?

somebody recommended this for an x2 6000 and it would be 10 degrees less. this processor gets very hot and the fan is loud as shit.

can i face this cooler in any four directions when i install it? It looks huge. I'm trying to make sure it stays clear of my memory slots, which are already in use

I got a p5q pro in an antec 900 case with 4 gigs of corsair dominator memory with a cooling fan mounted on them.

well i have one and mine points the fan up to my 2 top exhaust fans. idle with my AM2+ i get about 34c at the lowest only because the fan is like 50cfm. bought a fan with more cfm now its like 29c idle. with load its never above 40 unless im overclocking

looks similar to my setup - particularly the the NorthBridge passive heat sink.

i found my S128(4) was great to lower the CPU temps - but the MB temps went up from 41-ish to 47(mid load) about 52C cranking out GTAIV

yes the turbo module is for the passiv cooler, u can buy it additinally to lower the temps for oc.. btw i changed my case and decided to put 2x 120 case coolers on the accelero..and yes its possible! video coming soon!

idle temp with avg room temp around 40

and full around 50 :)

compared to the stock cooler at 60 in idle on the 8800gt really nice :)

Yes it has to cool the airflow also a bit, but i didnt put that thingy on :)

i got it too! unfortunalty it runs at 52 idle.... but on load overclocked it runs 68 which is incredible!

Yea 2 fans u can put on the heatpipe called "Turbo-Module" for better temps at overclocking..
