calculate probability of 1000000 robots with 1M boxes of 1M alphabets and let them shaffle them for 500M years- tell me can we get Hamlet by shakespear?
Probability fails where intension-intellect comes in.
Suppose you have 380 fair coins, what is the probability of getting 380 heads? P(380 heads) = (1/2)³⁸⁰. So log₁₀(1/2)³⁸⁰ = 380 log₁₀(1/2) ≈ -114 ∴ P(380 heads) ≈ (1/10)¹¹⁴ . How many times, or rather how many coins would have to be flipped every second, to reach 10¹¹⁴ flips in 20 billion years? There are 6.29424×10¹⁷ ≈ 10¹⁸ seconds in 20 billion years. N(flips/sec) ≈ 10¹¹⁴/10¹⁸ = 10⁹⁶. Average protein length 480 amino acids. 19 are chiral, they occur in equal chirality when created.
@rhoadess All known proteins are made up of left-handed amino acids only. The questions arise : why is there not a mixture of both left and right-handed amino acid proteins, or why aren't there any right-handed proteins? or can, in theory a right handed amino acid protein be made and will it function as well as a left handed amino acid protein? Based on the probability calculated, assuming both right handed and left handed proteins are possible, is chance a likely cause of life as we know it?
@rhoadess Enzymes, motherfucker, do you understand them? This is age old argument is refuted over 9000 times. Go learn some biochemistry if you want more detailed answers.
@DeusExWolksvagen I understand that enzymes are proteins that catalyze chemical reactions, they are made up of chains of 19 left-handed amino acids. All of us are likely to encounter many unlikable people in our lifetime, many of whom will have good ideas, and if we cannot separate the person from those ideas, we will probably fail to reap the benefit of many good insights. You seem to be one who has a strong grasp on biochemistry, if you can, please answer the questions I have asked?
@rhoadess You want the short or the long answer? First of all, where the fuck you got the idea that "they are made up of chains of 19 left-handed amino acids"? Enzymes can be many shape and forms, what you wanted to say is that 19 of the 20 primary alpha amino acids do this handiness make any fucking difference - at all. So, I would appreciate that you to dig up your sources from peer revived papers and not some web-shite of Conservapedia or other red neck bullshit sites like creation dot com.
@DeusExWolksvagen The idea is to choose them out of a bag that gives us a 50% chance of selecting either one of 19 left or right handed amino acid (AA). Suppose we want to arrange 400 AAs into one chain made of sets of 20 of each kind, and we pull them from a bag where the number of AAs is so large that removing 400 does nothing to our 50%. The fist simple calculation proves zero chance, & it is independent from arrangement, which hasn't been calculated. We ignore the non-chiral AA 400-20=380.
@rhoadess Profitability does not work in bio chemistry because chemicals have different properties in different (L or D ) states (natural selection does work, however). This apply to amino acids and sugars, for example. Majority of sugar we can metabolize is D form, and there is a reason for this found in its chemistry. Mirror image don't mean mirror properties. @mauroprovatos Yeah he has. I guess he's just adding more videos to it which is fine with me, although I would prefer him to focus on adding new subjects to his site.
Can you do a series on stochastic calculus and Black-Scholes Formula? I know, this is probably not on the top of your to-do list, but maybe in the future some time....
@Scorinitron you just have to find a pattern(: like, if you find the change in numbers, you'll notice some sort of pattern whether it's linear or with multiplication

can rolling a 5 count as a possible outcome of P(2 and 3) on 1 roll?

@hemcdma No, cause you're not asking for the propability of rolling a 5 as a sum

Just wanted to request if you can make a video on how to predict numbers.
Example:
64,16,4,1,__,__.
3,-6,12,-24,__,__.
Problems like the two above always stump me on test and quizzes. I would appreciate it if you can explain this your a great teacher!

@Scorinitron For the first you divide by four for each in the sequence. For the second you multiply by 2 and alternate between positive and negative.
