@RnRasmussen420 Not really. At least from all the pirate sea shanties I've heard, this sounds more like an Irish Folk Song in comparison. Sea shanties are more catchy, easy to memorize tunes that sailors would learn and sing as they worked to keep their spirits up on high journeys. "Drunken Sailor" was a more comedic one, but there were also songs such as "10,000 Miles Away" which, while upbeat, were about lost love(that song in particular about prison ships to Australia if I recall right).
