I did this using a tenis ball for large fire balls, So cool at night & u can bounce it while lit.

50/50 mix of vegetable oil & rubbing alcohol.

Sugar disolved in candle wax & "Off" bug spray.

Or jiz & silicone sex lube .

Each gives a diff colored flame.

Wrap ball with very fine copper wire which acts like a heat sink, it will absorb & disperse the heat & keep the fire from burning you.
