Also, the drama version of "Hwang Jini" or "Hwang Jin Yi" is a very good Korean historical drama too with Ha Ji Won. (There is going to be a movie version coming out this year too with Song hye kyo)

yes, i watched that series. it's very similar to DJG in many aspects but it's a lot darker. I cried mostly watching Jin Yi's mother, so sad.

This is pretty good drama series.. there is another historical Korean drama that is good too. It has one Korean name but for some reason there are so many English variations to it. It's called Suhdong's Song or sometimes Seodongyo. It has some other variations too.

Ming Jung Ho was sent away from the palace (something like in exile)in exchange that Jang Geum be freed from announcing as one the king's concubine...
