Noticed how joe contridicts himself? He says "it doesn't matter who did what", yet joe often times criticizes people for "stealing jokes". If it doesn't matter who did what, then why is Joe upset if someone tells other peoples jokes?
I agree with the point he makes. It doesn't really matter who gets credit, it's only important to know the information. Considering most knowledge and ideas are an emergent culmination--information built upon information. Rarely is something truly original.

@yllierutube There's a difference between potentially attainable, objective knowledge (what he was talking about) and comedy (art). Art should be credited to it's creator because unlike the discoverer of something who merely found what was already there for anyone else to find, the artist actually created something of his own, unique from anything anyone else could create.

Comedy can be "potentially attainable, objective knowledge" if someone chooses to seek learning it. Someone who feels they need credit for their art is really just dealing with feelings of egotism. Their egotistic views makes them feel as if they need approval or worship for their work. Also there's a propensity for people to seek credit, because there is a monetary reward for it.

What i meant was art in any form (comedy, music, ballet whatever) should be credited to the artist because that person is the only person who could have made that piece of art the way it is. It`s like a fingerprint, so it should be credited to the specific person so they may be exposed and praised and maybe sponsored to create more art for everyone to enjoy. But all of this is disrupted and tainted if we neglect the artist or allow douchebags to steal jokes!
