If Hutto was opened to "Maintain family unity", then where are the husbands/fathers of these family units? That's totally fine with me...don't like it? Go back to Mexico. All I hear are complaints about how corrupt and dangerous and impoverished Mexico is and then they come here ILLEGALLY and AS PRISONERS get a place to live together, food, toys and housing for FREE. These people are criminals who chose to jump the border and should feel lucky that they are given a sufficient place to live together before deportation.

It's sad, but necessary to lock up illegals awaiting deportation. The federal government doesn't want to separate the children from their parents. It is the illegal parents who have gotten their children (also illegal) stuck in detention. Laws need to change to speed up the process of deportation so they don't have to wait so long.
