I envision an FFIX remake for the PS3, but instead of throwing in extra dungeons and bosses like FF remakes usually do, create an entire Beatrix solo playthrough, starting from much earlier than the original storyline's beginning. It would act as an exposee, detailing much of her backstory and how she helped the party without them even knowing.

@Nyxlave No, they're "remastering". This is where they take the graphics, re-render them on the new Engine they created and used for FFXIII. The Playstation era of FF games were designed over pre-rendered backgrounds, meaning it was a picture background, as well as all the character models and everything in the game not being compatible with the new engine. Re-orchestrating the music too. They'd have to completely start the game from scratch which would take 7+ years minimum. It's not practical

@Fenrir2901 i don't think Vivi should be in the new dissidia but because i said that don't try and kill me -.- He was alright on my first 2 playthroughs but on the 3rd one he started irritating me and on the 4th one he's just meh. For a new Dissidia it should have either Beatrix, Steiner, Quina, Amarant or Freya in but because there was the addition of Kain in 012 that rules out freya unless they can compete with each other. In that case Freya would totally own.

She's powerful, skilled, and beautiful. Beatrix deserves more than she got in FFIX. HOWEVER! If they were to add her, it would make more sense if they added Steiner and/or Garnet as well, seeing as how otherwise, Beatrix would just be a female version of the Warrior of Light. She'd basically be stubbornly loyal to Cosmos, and not question anything. That makes for a dull character.

I personally prefer Beatrix to Steiner as i just found her a better character but theres more of a chance that Steiner will get in.
