  • First of all shotguns worth anything aren't cheap. Second obviously you haven't hunted or shot very many shotguns if you think a Winchester shotgun can out do an Ithaca. There is a reason besides that they are light why they are popular with cops and military! Research and know what your talking about before giving advice. I have a Ithaca model 37 bird gun featherlite modified choke in 12ga. I have tried and owned every popular shotgun out there it took one afternoon of shooting my friends Itha

  • still have it?

  • you guys wanna know a little secret with this gun? hold in the trigger and pump the action as fast as you can.

  • I can get a Model 1897 winchester for 200 dollars! shotguns are cheap. dont get ripped off!

  • what are the price in the us ?

  • You can hold the trigger and pump because there is no disconnector on the modle 37

  • My Itaca's Retail price was around 1400 bucks. Not 600.

  • @tHATkINDoFpERSON damn....I Guess I got a pretty sweet deal then huh =P

  • @FabioCrow07770 thank you. But i heard tht ithaca went outta buisness.

  • I have two questions, 1: is this same as ithaca 37 FEATHERLIGHT or not? 2: can u get ithacas anymore? I love ithaca and i shot my dads featherlight yesterday for the first time. I loved it and im getting a shotgun for my 13th bday. Please get bak to me as soon as you can. Thank you!

  • @noahlw18 this is the featherlight, yes. You can find Ithaca's online and at local gun shops

  • Hey man i know that you put a pistol grip on this. and i was wondering two things, 1st where did you find a compatible pistol grip for it and two do you think you could send me the measurements of the stock from the butt of it to where the hand grip starts. i want to make my own stock for it and that would help ,e alot.

  • @TheBigyoc Got the grip from Riflestock dot the com for like $20.

Not sure what I did with the old stock,I'll see If I could find it though

  • @FabioCrow07770 that'ed be good for you. i did some research and the stocks of the rifles up the collectivity of the firearm. i'll check out the site and see if they have a folding stock for it. if you find the original stock keep it in a dry safe place so someday if you decide to sell it the value will be greater

  • @TheBigyoc it's all cracked and mauled up that's why I had to replace it.

  • @FabioCrow07770 well as long as it isnt rotten it could be restored. maybe not to the point of it's original glory but defiantly made to look nice. a littl wood glue here a little pressure there and some wood epoxy in any holes. idk that sux though. i did however look on that site and i think i;m gonna get the folding stock for it (best of both worlds right?

  • i just got a ithaca 37 and restored it.. i ran the serial number on google and it came back it was made in 1929, i have problems with it jaming though

  • @MultiMango72 Never played that game but it is the shotgun from Resident Evil 5

  • i got 1 of these and it hella sick nikka

  • if it say (dear slayer) then its like 20 or 30 year old xD

  • Holy shit I want one.

  • It seems educational and fun.....

  • Not audible.

  • Apache Indian trying to talk like a surfer dude, like

  • @Vergon3256 lol I'm Half Italian, half Russian....lot of people confuse me with Indian though

  • @FabioCrow07770 HAHA I thought you where part indian too HAHA

  • @FabioCrow07770 how the fuck did that happen

  • i have the chance to get a ithaca pump 12 and i didnt know much about it so should i or not

  • @caleb5665 The Ithaca is a great shotgun, very reliable and fun to shoot. If you could find one,get it.

  • @FabioCrow07770 depends on the use...i like shooting an ithaca, but for home defense they arent that great because of the bottom eject and the lack of availability of accessories

  • @Lvl22nerd only shotgun accessories I like are shells

  • @FabioCrow07770 and pistol grips lol.

  • @FabioCrow07770 amen lol. who needs tacticool shit for a freakin HD gun

  • @Lvl22nerd LOL LOL Ithaca ds police special 2 first round buckshot rest slugs hold down the trigger and pump stop anything on the world

ps. when i say anything i mean living including soft and hard type body armor

used Ithaca ds as back up on big game elephants as a back up and it will drop them.

  • @Lvl22nerd

ok so whats so bad about the bottom ejection?

  • Beautiful gun you have there.

  • i own the saw shot gun and it does not say police special but it cycles the same hold triger and pump i have shot every thing through it bird shot through 3 inch magnum slug kicks like a muel with them so not recomended but it can

  • @AmazingKnifeThrower Depends on how short you saw it, as if you saw it shorter than a certain length, you have to register it, but you can still do it.

  • ithaca 37's are known to be able to fire on pump without letting off the trigger, in other words frie the first round and keep the trigger held back, as you pump the next round it will fire on the bolt closing, and keep pumping and it will keep firing never letting off the trigger.

  • @t3chk4 not easy with a smooth fore grip with sweaty hands and 100 degree weather

  • @FabioCrow07770 its not very accurate anyway.

  • @t3chk4 only mid 1977 and before do they do that.

  • i could really here what you said but anyways how much is the capicty 10/10 for video thumbs up for the guy and his videos

  • It has a slug barrel on it so you should not fire buckshot through it,otherwise it could screw up the barrel

  • How does this gun perform chicken penis wise?

  • Since it looks like has rifle like sights it's meant to be a slug gun. Right?

  • i wish i lived in america souly so i could go hunting alot easier

  • hi fabio mate, could you tell me of any pump 12 gauge which has a limit of two in the mag n one in the breech as in uk law thats all you can have on a shot gun cert, many thanks man, and good vids mate...

  • Amazingknifethrower sounds like you've been playing to much resident evil 5..

  • When you burped i thought you were gonna throw up some bullshit.

  • @thourobred1 lol would have been funny If I Threw up in the middle of the review then just carried on like nothing happened

  • @FabioCrow07770 hey do you know if you can fire steel shot from these??? the guy i bought mine form said he THINKS only lead. thanks

  • @AdangerousRETARD the former shop manager of Ithaca Gun Co. and current owner/operator of Diamond Gunsmithing, says that steel shot is OK for any model 37 choked no tighter than modified.

  • @FabioCrow07770 ok thanks man

  • I have one of the first Ithaca M37 20g featherlight :D

I love it! It's one of my favorite to shoot!

  • i liked your review personally, you hit the top points of the finest shotgun there ever was. they built the ithaca 19 miles from my home. i own several and would put them all above and 2k+ gun i own. they are reliable, functionable and accurate.

  • nice dude, I liked the park when you eplained the ejection it's what I was looking for.

  • i have that ecxact same gun

  • The winchester model 12 also doesn't have a trigger disconnect.

  • Was used in Nam after they couldn't get parts for the Winchester model 12 Would be neat to see someone shoot the Ithaca Auto and Burglar gun!

  • i love watch your videos !!

  • i have a chin com ithaca 12 ga pump does any one know where i can get a deerslayer barrel fot it

  • Pumpauto 1887 gun gotta love those things xD

  • Nice, I have one from the 60's that was passed down from my father. He has taken many deer with it and so have I. I truely love this gun for Deer hunting.

  • @ballocoke one of the best

  • Used by LAPD

  • @fixdeluxe1 aLSO USED BY THE u.s ARMY IN vIETNAM TO S LAY THE gook'S!aSK ANY vet!

  • You should be able to slam fire that particular model. I have the 8 shot, 20" parkerized, police special riot gun in that model. Known as the "D.P. Police Special." Made in 1981. Nice shotgun. BTW: Ithaca went out of business several years ago.

  • @FaganRoberts Guess again Dickweed!!!!!!!!! They are still in buisness!! New model 37 featherlite is in effect! gOOGLE IT!

  • @sprk14me Why would you possibly want to call me a "dickweed?" I mean, is there something wrong with you? OK, ok, they are back in business after closing down. Cool. But does that justify name calling? I'll guess you are either a teenager or a man of low intelligence, right? Should you be handling a gun?

I mean, you write like an uneducated person who is going no place in life.

    Sad, so sad.

  • @FaganRoberts Really you should check your facts before you spit shit out on the page!!

  • @sprk14me Fact: Ithaca did go out of business according to the NRA and various news reports.

Fact: You are either a man of low intelligence, teenager or severely uneducated.

Again, what is wrong with you and what business do you have owning a gun?

  • my grandpa bought one of these new in 1960, in his area he was one of the first people to put a scope on a shotgun, he has shot EVERY DEER with this GUN or a bow. he's never killed a deer without his ithaca or a bow, haha

  • I got an old Japanese made Ithaca double barrel. Uncle gave it to me for my 16th birthday, had it ever since, awesome company that Ithaca.

  • @itachi1303 you are stupid as hell!!!! jAPS NEVER MADE this shotgun dumbass! It was made in ITHACA new york!!!!! My double barrel was made in 1945 and my other double barrel was made in 1914 by LeFever Arms in syracuse ny, who later became Ithaca arms. Please know what the fuck your talking about before you throw it out on the page!!!!

  • Dude! I have the same exact shotgun. I believe they don't make them anymore, my grandfather gave it to me years ago. But yah same exact everything, the recoil is pretty heavy but it is the best slug gun I ever had. Dead on every time.

  • That's the gun from the resident evil series

  • Ya I Took it off Chris Redfield while he was busy in the bathroom after eating some taco bell

  • @FabioCrow07770 Resident Evil 5+Taco Bell =Win lol

  • @SolidSnake4Ever2003 love RE 5

  • @FabioCrow07770 hell yeah me too man.You got xbox live?we could play sometime lol

  • @SolidSnake4Ever2003 Yep I Do,live name is HAHAROFLMAO

  • @FabioCrow07770 really?

  • @speedracersimpson Lol Yes. I'm always on play RE5 or maybe modern warfare 2 (black ops missions not the death matches because I suck lol)...sometimes GTA4

  • @FabioCrow07770 add me fragtagsimpson

  • @FabioCrow07770 No shit you play blacpops pretty funny im decent Have you tried medal pf honor the new onw?

  • yeah in all model 37's the rounds will shoot when you pump it not just police model

  • @TheDeerdropper Whats with the capitals?

  • i have a police mossburg that does the same.. it also holds 8. have fun bragging about your relic on youtube.. glad you put sheets up in your bathroom. how come you keep saying you dont know something about your firearms? read a book

  • got it on a trade along with 5 other firearms

  • also, its you're. not your.

  • This guy may be weird for filming in a bathroom, but at least he can pass third grade grammar. In Case You Did Not Know, We Do Not Capitolize Every First Letter... dumbass.

  • best lighting, anywhere else was too dark for my old cam and you wouldn't be able to see the gun.

  • seeing him dry fire that gun like that makes me want to cry

  • Ithaca Gun Co. Best of the best.

You won't find a smoother, or better balanced pump action shotgun in the world.

  • I have an Ithaca 16 gage If anyone is not shure not to get one go for it there amazing guns

  • Ithaca's are one of the best

  • Hell ya man:)

  • @FabioCrow07770 ithaca pistol grip was used in aliens movie :D

  • Sweet

  • back part = buttstock

    front part = forearm

  • should refinish it.. strip off the old blueing.. reblue or parkerize it.. refinish or replace the furniture.. would look good as new

  • That gun really deserves to be restored. They are beautiful and awesome guns. Most accurate shot gun I have ever seen

  • Is he in the bathroom?

  • you dont know enough about guns to be posting videos about them... but it is a beautiful gun.

  • if he owns it then he must no something :)

  • dude your an idiot!!!

  • I have it my dad says its from the 70s.

  • do you know how old it is??????

    thats one nice gun

  • old enough to bump fire, that's All I Know

  • hell yeah

  • Damn fine gun..

  • do you know if the tacstar pitol grip accesories will fit an ithaca 37?

  • Tac Star Side Saddle Shotshell Carrier will but If You want a fore end grip or folding stock I could give you some links to some good ones

  • Being a police special has nothing whatsoever to do with it... All Ithaca M37's, like the Winchester M1897's and M12's that preceded it, did not incorporate a trigger disconnect that requires resetting the trigger after each cycle of the pump...

Your Ithaca is of much higher quality of both design and manufacture then the Mossberg 500. It consistently places within the top three spots on most lists of greatest pump shotguns ever produced...

  • I Got the Ithaca on a trade

  • remington ithaca winchester mossberg....the best slide action shotgun makers ever ...........

  • Damn man, you ever hear of editing? How much did you pay for that Ithica?

  • Got it on a trade

  • Lol Ya,Two pure breed Dachshund puppies for two .303 rifles, one Black powder .45 rifle, one black powder .44cal pistol and this shotgun...pretty sweet deal if you ask me lol

  • Two Puppies

  • Yeah I know for a fact the police special gave you the ability to pump while holding the trigger which is a good idea for multiple home invaders.

  • Hell yeah,gotta love it =)

  • ny?

  • Brilliant video !

  • they make a mag extension for the Ithaca?

  • Hopefully you kept the stock just in case you want to put it back to original.

  • The stock was all chipped and didn't fit right

  • 5 Stars. Nice Shotty!

  • me and my dad have hunted with the 16 gauge model 37 feather lite with the reg smooth bore barrel it also has the birds and hunting dogs engraved on both sides., it was like 50 years old and the one we had was worth about a thousand dollars. that was the smoothest shooting solid shotgun i have used, the pump is solid as well and quick loading. it was in the family for 20 years , it was supposed to be mine but my dad needed cash and lost it to pawn. nice gun, the best for hunting in my eyes.

  • I wouldn't sell any of my guns

  • yeah i'll never sell again or pawn their hard to get back .

  • have you got any assault rifles

  • not yet

  • you planning on getting one what kind

  • you seem to know quite alot about guns so maybe you could answer me this question.if your not an american citizen but are living and working in america can you legaly purchase a gun? please reply

  • there's no harm in trying, the worst that will happen is you'll get turned down.

On the form you have to fill out it asks if your a US citizen and if so what is your country of origin...so give it a shot.

P.S if your looking for a rifle or a shotgun try the local paper shop for listings, they sell guns with no paper work.

  • thinking of getting a 45 like yours. any unusual restrictions on buying a handgun?

  • nothing unusual really. If you want one get one fast before they add more paper work lol

  • or before the completley disolve the right to own one

  • there is no way you should be allowed to own firearms.

  • Well I'm getting more soon =P

  • The model 37 ethica was partial designed by J.M. Browning. :) One of my fave shotguns

  • dats a nice gun

  • just put a pistol grip on it not long ago

  • The new Model 37 self-defense shotgun no longer has that yoke/bracket thing that connects the barrel and, ammunition tube. The tube only connects to the shotgun via the receiver. It looks weird to me, as I've always liked the yoke/bracket on Ithaca shotguns.

  • that police special that it says on the barrel is only because the barrel was used by the police here in ithaca i also have a model 37 it still fires nice it was my grandfathers and is about 35 years old its still a good gun i perfer my remington 870 though yours looks about same age

  • I like Ithacas. I like that gun. Yours is the only review of this gun I could find online. Thanks.

  • Not many people have them I Guess...Or they do but they don't have a cam to show it lol =P. Very nice Gun,I Love mine

  • I saw one just like yours a week ago at a gun shop. It looked "well used" and was selling for about $485. I couldn't bring myself to buy it; too expensive. Instead, for about half that price, I bought a new Bersa Thunder Duo Tone .380 ACP at a different shop. The guy would have come down on the price of the Ithaca, but I didn't feel like haggling-it was so used and I don't know what to look for. I was even afraid to rack it in the store. The Bersa was my first purchase ever. My Ithaca was a gift

  • Got mine on a trade

  • nice shotgun-hey what kind of shaving cream do you use?

  • Old spice body wash...you get a closer shave

  • I recomend if you are going to fire it get a slip on recoil pad. They kick like pissed off mules. Makes it a whole lot more tolerable to shoot for more than a few rounds.

  • I Bought a Pistol grip for it recently and did a video on it

  • That this is AWESOME! Sorry about the other comment re: get a pistol grip - I didnt see the pistol grip videos!

    KEEP UP THE AWESOME VIDEOS!

  • thanks =D.

    Love the pistol grip

  • i have a model 37 but it is a 20 gauge....does anyone know what this gun of mine is worth??

  • I think like $400 or so

  • Nice gun, what kind of Shampoo do you use?

  • old spice body wash

  • LoL, good. Cool cool...

  • I believe this firearm was employed by Navy S.E.A.L.S. during Vietnam Era.

  • i think so to

  • It's refered to as a "Slam Fire". You can't get them anymore so hang on to it. A collecter will hound you or trick you out of it.

  • thanks For the heads Up

  • If you look around, you can find 'em for less. I picked mine up used at Gander Mtn for $120, there was another later for $150 missing the front sight. On mine, the finish wasn't great but the wood was smooth and glossy, and the action was still solid. The slamfire feature is nice, but they're great for accurate slugs.

I prefer my Mossberg 590 or 18" 500 for home defense, though, because of the capacity, safety, reliability, and it seems to me to handle better in close quarters.

  • I Still haven't shot mine lol

  • You THINK it cost $600? Only talk about what you know, or fuck off. Used, you can get one for around $750-$850. Quit the "I think" ramblings, and talk about something that you do know, at this point I feel that it may be very limited for you.

  • Shut the Fuck up Shawn. Isn't jamming a dick into your mouth one of your strong points, because you seem to have a major issue with getting a girlfriend, otherwise you wouldn't lower yourself to begging on an internet dating site. The only thing you are good at is being a scavenger in a conversation. You try to think you are a badass by babbling in a conversation that hasn't been responded to in a week. Then you give me a thumbs down, so I return that in kind. :)

  • Tim, how are my "attempts" failed? Mr goober was trolling on each on fabio's videos insulting him, then I told him the real price, and shut him up. Aren't you the one who has a racist past with online gaming, by the way. You're the one who made fun of someone being Iraqi, so you have the least room to talk. Isn't it funny how all the online 24-7 gaming nerds such as shawn are the ones who think they are badass, and yet feel it is their duty to call anyone who is better than them names?

  • since you do own both..i have to ask what makes the ithica better for home defense over the mossberg seems like the mossberg would be easier to use under stress with the position of its safety and bolt release and its heavier therfor it recoils less but i dont know much about the ithica sept it can slam fire wich is cool and can NOT take 3 inch shells wich sucks also i heard they have one action bar instead of 2 like the mossberg so waht makes the ithica better for home defense?
