I agree that Palistinans should not have their land taken from them... but unfortunetly political states and basic property rights are two different areas of discusssion.
For example, If their property were given back 100 percent under the condition that those living within isreal borders would have to become isreali citezens... would it be accepted? I think It's too late for a two state solution, the land confiscations and settlements throughout the occupied territory makes it impossible to give the Palestinians a coherent state. it would look like swiss cheese chopped up in bits and pieces.
The only practical solution at this point is a one state solution one man one vote and allow all the Palestinian refugees to finally go back to their homes. A true democratic state, not a racist state based on religion.
Your "solution" is the establishment of an Islamic state (that will most likely will be as democratic as Gaza...) instead of Israel. I think you'll find it hard to convince the Israelis of the arabs peaceful intents. This solution of yours, that of a one state, means it's going to be a case of either/or. With the current balance of power, I am not sure how smart that choice is.

Even during Arab rule,approx. 600 to 1100 CE, Palestine was never an independent entity or country of any sort but a province at best! Never did it have the qualities that define a country or a state.
Of course there were, and still are Arabs living in that part of the world. Surely enough many of them became refugees after their ill-advised attack on the newly created state in 1948. A state created by a resolution of the UN, you are so keen to uphold.

For example, If their property were given back 100 percent under the condition that those living within isreal borders would have to become isreali citezens... would it be accepted? You will probably say no. The problem here is that there are isrealis that have been born there since 1945 meaning they would have just as much right to the land. How to reconcile both states (atleast for all that were born in the area) seems to be the main problem then.

I think It's too late for a two state solution, the land confiscations and settlements throughout the occupied territory makes it impossible to give the Palestinians a coherent state. it would look like swiss cheese chopped up in bits and pieces.
The only practical solution at this point is a one state solution one man one vote and allow all the Palestinian refugees to finally go back to their homes. A true democratic state, not a racist state based on religion.

BTW, in Israel proper (read: inside the 1967 borders) arab citizens have the same vote as jews and indeed the same rights. In fact, they have a much much higher standard of living than 95% of arabs in the countries surrounding them.

Since you keep referring to UN resolution 181, then comply with it and give back the land that is clearly defined in that resolution for the Palestinians and while your at it comply with UN 242, 338 and the other hundred plus resolutions listed clearly on the UN website condeming Israels Illigal Occupations of Palestine, Lebanon and Syria. Resolution 338 is just its reiteration...
What you and other radicals want is the return of the territories so they can be used as a pedestal to launch the next attack on Israel in an attempt to destroy it and establish some Arab "democracy" in its place...(arab states are exemplary democracies as we all know).
As I said, the arabs tragedy is that they have not learned the lessons of 1948, 1967 or even 1973. Every time they seek to destroy Israel they end up bringing a disaster on themselves.

You wanted facts. The facts are Israel has more UN resolutions against it than any other country in the world, I am merely referred to a couple of the more than 100 UN Resolutions against it. If you want to COMPLY with International law then comply with all of the UN resolutions. Accusing Israel of ILLEGALLY OCCUPYING other peoples land. I'll tell you what's laughable. It's laughable to ask for the withdrawal of Israel and at the same time to seek to destroy it. 242 has two parts and you are ignoring the one that calls for the recognition in Israels right to exist within safe borders.
You admittedly reject the two state solution as do the majority of arabs in the west bank, now why should the Israelis agree to withdraw? so their cities are easier to target?
