The Queen Silvia is daughter of a brazilian mother. She just borned in Germany. Since she was 3 years old they moved to Brazil. Silvia mother is brazilian portuguese immigrant. Like everybody else in Brazil. Brazil have the Second largest German population outside Germany (more tha 18 million descendants); The Queen Silvia was raised in Brazil. She speaks a fluent portuguese and in the Swedish Castle she use to cook brazilian tipical food like feijoada, vatapa, ...Do you like or not. Thanks.

Oh, i know about regal looking gowns, jordimia. Monique Llhuilier comes from my country. I regularly see her Mom and relatives exquisitely and elegantly dressed be they in casual wear or formal. When i said "For me, her wedding gown was not ugly", I'm just stating my own personal opinion. You think it's ugly, I don't. Simple. "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", I believe this. I can appreciate simple lines in clothes.. as well as those elaborately, fully beaded or sequined designed gowns.
