I have Grey Knights and im looking for some clarification. It does say they are Jump Infantry and can make the one shunt per game, but does that mean they can make jump moves like assault marines? nb4 op call... not like the shunt isnt op enough

@sopoko1 They are able to move 12 like assault marines yes. I'm not such a big fan of Interceptors though.

But if you felt so inclined the Nemesis Dreadknight can take an upgrade to get the same wargear and then moves as jump infantry and thus is allowed to deepstrike. The two work well together. Fun.

Didn't the dreadknight make a difficult terrain test to assault, that puts him at initiative 1 unless they can get assault grenades on those.

Stormravens have the Shadow Skies Special Rule which lets them deploy transported units via deep strike if the Stormraven has moved Flat Out.

@MrGlokster if you look at the rules for Feel No Pain you'll see that it says AP1, AP2, Instant Death, Rending and Power Weapons (anything that armor saves could never be taken against) disallow FNP... I've lost several debates on the subject before re-reading the rule

dread could have charged, anything disembarking from a stormraven is able to assault the turn it exits just like a landraider

Might be wrong, but assuming he jettet 24 inches over there and used that special drop rule to deploy the dread, doesnt that rule prevent charges specifically?

@IQequalZero if he had done so the dread would have scattered which he didnt roll for which means he didnt jet 24 inches, the rules state under the rule "assault vehicle" any model disembarking from the stormraven if it did not move flat out are able to assault the turn they do so". also he made a lot of bad moves in these 2 turns alone. he did state he doesnt play 40k much but still BTP have counters everywhere for remembering things so in the future maybe he should grab some.
