If you decide to push that motor to 48V

it can be re-wound with more turns of heavier copper, upgrade the brush-plate and add active cooling...

It can handle 48V @ 50Amps or 2.4Kw Not chronic, but on demand as needed...

Also add a cheap digital thermometer (with remote sensor) to keep an eye out that the motor doesn't fry...

change your rear sprocket , like 40 teeth

add a second battery = more torque and go longer

dude just buy anothey 12v battery and a 48v controller.48v is way faster! twice as much power than with the setup you have. You dont need to change motor because overvolting it will actually increase its power. you will probably see 15-17mph but with wheeling power.
