  • Way to skip like 5 body styles

  • Wheres 2003-2006?

  • Wheres 73-87?

  • @TraditionalChevy also 88 to 98

  • Lol i own that silverado. It from 2000 It is a single cab bench seat small bed. It is a 1500 model but it halls ass with a tone of pellets in its bed. Gotta love em.....

  • wow way to skip the best years

  • i own a own a 1957 chevy pickup and i beat the hell out of it, crashing it and it still runs just like a new one

  • Wow, they skipped atleast 20 years of trucks. And those are my favorite years too.

  • :*( I KNOW!! mybe has to do with that they were CK 1500s not silveardos

  • wow

  • where did you video tape that?

  • it skipped the 2002-2006 model too

  • nice

  • they forgot the 73-89 models :( i grew up around a 75 C20 and a 75 K10. both trucks where amazing :( and possibly the best looking trucks ever :D

oh also the GMT400 like my truck :(

  • I'm sure they forgot a lot of the others. They didn't have time to put all of them.

  • where i can download this video?

  • skiped the 80's - 90's

  • ya gota love dem chevys......

  • pretty sweet. They shouyld make an extended commercial with all styles

  • they skiped the styles that i like 73-87 modles, that is fucked up

  • yeah they were prolly embarassed because of the 5.7 diesel joke or the side saddle fuel tanks

  • they probably skipped some body styles because all they have is 30 seconds.

  • cool

  • so they missed the 73' to 87' model?? wtf is up with that comon i own 2 and there damn good trucks 75' custom delux and a 77' cheyanne

  • WOAH

  • I agree... what the fuck happened to the 2 styles of trucks that spanned over 20 years? Forget that one?

  • Fantastic animation!

But... I raise the bullshit flag!! Neither of the two long-run body styles were featured!

  • Stupid video...The most famous body style of the Silverado 88-98 was not in this...I wouldn't trade my 98 for a new one...Maybe its just me cause i drive that body style but still I think they should have added it in!

  • The Silverado is still a piece of crap. Cool video though.

  • You skipped like 2 body styles! WTF??

  • No C/K series from 85-99?

This new Silverado is pissing me off more and more.

  • They skipped the best ones....88-99 wtf?

    YEAH!!!

  • what year is the first one? after that its '48, '56, '71, '02, '07. they tottaly skipped the best 30 years

    you are soooo right

  • god i feel seasick after watching that

  • what year is the first one? after that its '48, '56, '71, '02, '07. they tottaly skipped the best 30 years

  • OMG STOP

  • you can find that video on chevrolets website with better picture

  • what about the 85-99 series

  • They skipped the best ones....88-99 wtf?

  • Ahem, 73-87 ; )

  • haha..they didnt even show da 80's, they showed 69-70, then skipped 2 the 2000's X-D

  • I guess they only showed the ones in which the chassis was changed, as from 1999 to 2007 the trucks still had the GMT800 frame, even with the 2003 "refreshing."

  • CHEVY 4 LIFE BABY YEAHHH!!!!!

  • CHEVYS! RULE! FORDS SUCK!..its all about the chevys!..F-found O-on the R-road D-dead..FORD :)

  • nice

  • They didn't show much of the 80s at all lol

  • They went form the 99-02 straight to the 07s! What about the very popular 03-06?

  • Is GM serious about being the king of large trucks? Don't just flash the Motor Trend Truck of the Year award while Mellencamp plays. SHOW and TELL us how the truck got the award over Toyota and every other large truck. The award is just a piece of metal and not every one of us reads Motor Trend.

  • Why don't you find out yourself? You got fingers to search the web, and legs to take your ass to a dealer and test drive either truck.

  • I'm upset that the 80's-90's were missed out, reguardless of what the quality reasons are. HORRIBLE advertisement. I worked for a marketing firm and they would have NEVER let that happen. That would be called cutting corners. I own a Chevy, I sure hope they dont build trucks like they do ad's.

  • Amen. I was wondering whether they'd do the late 70's round front clip, 80's stacked headlights, the early 90's headlight setup (that stuck til this year) or the 93-99. I think just about anything built in 1995 by GM has to be the best. Most are still on the road - or in the dirt - today.

  • That realy makes me mad they left out the 67-87 chevy trucks they were the best ones ever made. you see way more of the 70's & 80's chevys's on the road then ford.

  • i agree you never see 73-87 fords, but all those good ol chevys are still truckin.

  • My dad has a 1973 ford f-250 and it still works like new.

  • thats not the point the point is that fords sux and fuck up all the time if you like ford thats fine i like gm and only gm cars

  • There are a lot of old fords where I live, and a lot of old chevys, I guess it depends on how well you take care of them.

  • My dad has a 1967 Chevy and he beats the hell out of it and it still works like it was just made.

  • No one has this piece of shit moving.. If you do see it moving note that the bumber is all friglass and jumps around like a school girl.. All so you can see how big of a piece of shit the truck when off road everything moves... GM sucks.. Bad...

  • No one has this piece of shit moving.. If you do see it moving note that the bumber is all friglass and jumps around like a school girl.. All so you can see how big of a piece of shit the truck when off road everything moves... GM sucks.. Bad...

  • "They forgot the entire late 80's / early 90's generation of chevy trucks" Because those are the wrost truck every made...

  • yeah especially the 5.7 diesel and the blue 350

  • They forgot the entire late 80's / early 90's generation of chevy trucks lol

  • they cant put every generation into a 30-sec commercial, think about it for a while.

  • uhm it missed early 90s model lol

  • i gotta say kool vid, but wtf happened to 1980-1998?

i mean, those r sum of the best years...

especially 1988 & 89, the first p/u truck to feature a rounded grille...

  • did the commercial originaly have the vehical twiching to make a smile?

  • PANDA FIAT FOREVER

  • The cult car that is was forgotten. The old one had its virtues, the new one has much more. It has a certain universal appeal and the quality is not bad.

  • I love chevrolet

  • that was cool, until they skip the 1965 chevy fleetside. One of my favortive

  • Thought it was cool until it skipped a few of the best years.

  • In the words of Peter Griffen..."Freaking Sweet!"

  • maybe he wanted him to be burned alive.

  • isnt it funny how corporations are using you tube as a means to advertise? wow! youtubes logo even says broadcast yourself. i didnt think corporations had a self to broadcast.. oh wait they dont.. because a corporation is not a person!

  • uh-hum, yeah...CRAP! I can't believe youtube is doing publicity for chevrolet...they are just trying to do a brainwash by showing some fancy commercials.

    I am very disapointed youtube...

  • TOTALLY!

  • I will buy a Toyota!

  • awsome, and whoever dont think so can go hump a tree

  • WOW, Chevy trucks DO change. From like 87-2000, they sure didn't change much.

  • badass!

  • what a gay ass movie

  • what! no robots in disguise?!

  • why shd he be sad about something like that

  • i love gm :D

  • Instead of putting the time & effort into this video, why don't you fix the quality control issues at GM? As of now it's non-exsistent. Stuff will start falling off your new GM vehicle before the paper work is finished. Total Crap!

  • yea kinda like those butt ugly German Dodge Rams lol

  • Great!!!

  • Chevy is depletin the world of oil. This means those of you living in the northern parts won't be able to keep your homes warm, but you'll be able to drive a giant brick of metal for a few miles. Buy asian cars.

  • then switch to natural gas and quit bitchin

  • that was cool but where's the '60-'66 trucks??

  • Sweet!

  • I don't care who did it, or even it was a commercial.

    Great vid. 10/10

  • Did Michael Bay do this commercial? He did the Chevy car carrier American Revolution one, and this would seem like a logical tie-in to the movie. Pretty damn cool. So who cares if there's a commercial on the front page? Don't click on it if you're not interested. They gotta make money somehow.

  • lol..

    the shape is wierd..

    cool animation though

  • i thought this has something to do with the movie Transformers... ^_^

  • well, it looks that way huh.. i wonder if they had ILM or whoever to do this?

  • 1 word OWNED

  • Only like number 2 and 3 in the ad. First one would do as a hot rod though!

  • Well done on officially ripping of Citroën

  • Like to see what my Optra Chevy will transform into... have been a Gas guzzler though..

  • cool

  • 89 years. The last model can't haul groceries home from the store any better than the first.

  • Stupid fascists!

  • cool vid ... the pre-now version looks best imho, 80's-90's styling :)

  • Cute graphics - but the Chevy stuff all over the front page drags it down to 1-2 stars. Ick!

  • Does it matter, soon every one will have a car from japan.

  • It is so great to see that after youTube sells out to Google for 1.6 billion they feel the need to sell out to Chevy. Ok guys just go buy your island in the bahamas, and don't sell us out any more.

  • thats was cool

  • lameeee

  • youtube sells out to commercialism. GREAT!

  • CHEVYS FRIGGIN SUCK

  • When I bought my last car, I considered several GM producrs. Unfortunately, all of them were built in opther countries. I finally bought a Honda Accord built in Ohio, because I wanted an American car. GM is dead. Get used to it.

  • If you say so chump.

  • I love these Kinds of Comercials!

  • i think they want you to forget about the shit pickups they made inbetween that early 70's model and the late 90's one....

  • I guess it's winking there at the very end?

  • Um, it's bad framework. Not a wink.

  • thatr was cool

  • where is the silverado for the 90's and the one from the 80's with the junk transmission! How do you go from 70's to 2000's so fast?

  • excellent advertisement!!!

  • yep. just more g.m financed media that wins over stupid city cowboys.

  • Nice commercial Chevy.

Much Better than the recent car commercials i've seen on TV lately.

  • GM is still the largest seller of vehicles in the world. 2nd is Toyota then Ford. Says something about that. Ford keeps digging their hole deeper. GM spends more money on benefits for employees through pension plans and such than on steel. Does toyota? Nope they underpay their employees in Asia.

  • Toyota keeps building more and more cars in the US, while GM keeps building more and more cars in Mexico and Canada. GM just forced out thousands more of its American employees and closed plants while expanding overseas. If they could get out of those union deals, they would in a second. They don't give a crap about their employees.

  • Being a GM employee I can tell you they do care about their employees more than any other company. Toyota imports their pickups without a bed on it and then put one on in America and claims they build cars in america.

  • They probably care more than Ford and Ford doesn't care about anybody. At the end of the day, America is the worlds largest market for cars, yet apart from the developing and third world, has some of the most primative cars around and still made. All apart from the European and Japanese imports. I live in Europe and people who know cars stay away from GM and Ford. Boring cars for boring people...

  • Being a former owner of Japanese, European, and American cars I can tell you that European cars had a nicer ride by far, japanese cars just were rubbish, and at the end of the day a good ol' American V8 just made the ride home more fun.

  • hmm what i think is all cars are good except china made cars and fuk urself u shit u dont know anything about japanese car then shut the fuk up and hump ur ass

  • I do know about Japanese cars, they are very reliable dont get me wrong. I did like the 1990 Nissan Maxima I had but it was FWD and that sucks. I have also had a 96 Nissan Sentra, also good but gutless and small. My dad has a 06 Toyota Corolla Ive driven in it and all I have to say is that is a girls car and the torque curve makes absolutly no sense at all.

  • no actually im a dumb fuk who just liared :) im just messing with u lol

  • You know nothing about JApanese cars. First of all , to criticize a car for being FWD when all but a handful of AMERICAN cars are FWD is silly. A 96 Sentra is gutless and small? Try a Ford Escort. A Corolla is a girls car? What do you call a Chevy Cobalt?

  • Cobalt aint that bad. not as gutless as the Corolla or Sentra. Still to small for my liking. People buy Camrys and Accords because Honda and Toyota pay off these review magazines who have become extremely biased towards the Japanese and people see that they have 5 stars where the impala will have 3 when I have driven all 3 and the Impala is far better especially the SS version with 303HP V8.

  • what an idiotic statement. They don't need to pay off any magazines. People buy Accords and Camrys because they last for 200,000 miles, they don't need new brakes at 12,000 miles, the paint doesnt peel off after 2 years, and because intelligent buyers don't judge the qaulity of a car by its horsepower. HAving 303HP doesnt mean anything if the car won't start.

  • Wow.umm, we arent in the 80s anymore. GM is as reliable if not more reliable than Hondas now. I had a 73 Chevrolet Pickup with the origional engine and it was going on 300,000 miles. American cars got their reputation of poor reliability because the owners were idiots not the manufactuer. you talk about my generalization I think you need to stop being a hypocrite.

  • yes, we're not in the 80's anymore. we're not in the 90's either, but that didn't stop you from talking about a 90 maxima or a 96 sentra, did it? Talk about hypocrite. And your claim that GM quality is as good or better is joke, and not backed up by one source. American cars fell apart because the owners were idiots? I guess Japanese car owners must be geniuses then, since their cars didn't fall apart.

  • Yeah. Japanese trannies are so strong that they are always blowing up. My wifes Honda Oddyssy is a 2001 already on the 2nd tranny cause of it was poorly made. My nieghbors 2000 Chevy Venture has more miles and has spent more time on the road and less in the shop than our Oddyssy. Says something.

  • wow. your wife blew her transmission, therefore Japanese trannies are always blwing up. Brillinat. Using your previous 'logic', though, maybe her tranny blew because she's an idiot owner, like the people who say their American cars suck. Says something too, that you're a GM employee whose wife drives a Japanese car, even though you can't spell it. The funny thing is, not once in any of your replies to me have you actually addressed an issue I brought up. So I'm done playing. Bye.

  • I know people who love their Hondas, etc. but where Im from you rarely see a Japanese car 20-25 years old still driven, but 30-40 year old American cars are everywhere..that says alot.

  • saying 'Japanese cars are rubbish' shows not only your bias but your ignorance. There's a reason people keep buying Accords and Camrys over and over - their great cars. There's a reason people stopped buying American cars in the 80's - they SUCKED. Chevette? Citation? Cavalier? Tempo? GArbage, and everyone knows it.

  • Good job bringing up all the poor cars GM has made. Should I bring up the list of Jap cars that sucked? I dont think I have enough room to type it all in here.

  • Hye, you made the generalization that Japanese cars are rubbish. It's an idiotic statement. So don't whine when I point out the trash Detroit puts out. I sold cars for 7 years - Fords, Hondas, Subarus and Chryslers. I know what quality is - it has nothing to with horsepower. YEs, I WOULD like to bring up all the Japanese cars that sucked. My list of American cars would be 4 times as long.

  • hey moron your talking GM right? a tempo is a ford product...moron

  • yeah yeah ford.. boring.. mine is boring also.. 2002 mustang GT mmm supercharged 500+ torque = boring? Lmfao

  • And people in the USA who know cars stay away from anything ever built in the UK.

  • but you're the one that will get sacked soon because GM builds lousy cars and GM business structure is completely ut of touch with reality.

  • If GM cared about their employees, the movie 'Riger and Me' wouldn't have been such a huge hit. If GM cared about their employees, they ouldn't have bought out 35,000 employees. GM builds their cars in Canada using Japanese parts then calls them American.

  • Cool video... but could be a little misleading. There might be people out there thinking your truck can actually transform like that. :D

  • Pretty cool.

  • chevy is bad only if you guys put a commercial of 2007s blazers

  • that was cool me like

  • Be quiet they need money you can post your videos youtube

    Nice commercial

  • they're into the transformers thing aren't they? nice promo chevy!! do some more!!

  • B U Y A T O Y O T A!!

  • GOSCREWYOURSELF!!

  • dis coo

  • And how much did youtube make from ford? how much was the contract deal? 500million?

  • C'mon folks, YouTube .... i mean.. google needs Money and this is a nice commercial with nice Pickups. I like it.

  • Kind of seems it zoomed in on some parts to let them not animate the whole vehicle transforming.

  • the very last and second last were barley different.

  • thats an interesting commercial

  • 2nd one is the shit

  • And how much did youtube make from ford? how much was the contract deal? 500million?

  • i'm so glad gmc is going out of busines.

  • Ford F-series is better.

  • God bless that Scottsdale.

  • YOUTUBE IS NOT FOR CHEVROLET COMERCIALS!! Get out of here with this bullshit, and buy some commercial time on tv; stay off of youtube.

  • How do you think Youtube makes money?
