A salesperson at heart is a consultant, he is exactly right. Consultants are paid to solve problems. Yet, nothing happens until somebody sells something....

Sounds good in THEORY, until you realize your customers still view you as a SALESMAN no matter how you try to SNOW him or her..
A SALESMAN is a SALESMAN and will always be a salesman. I personally don't recommend you even pursue this line of work unless you are a self abasing individual with no self esteem.
Don't listen to these get rich motivational guys. Being a salesman is the stupidest choice of a profession you could make.

Did you know that 99% of all insurance in Canada is sold by sales people? Without these sales people selling disability, group insurance or life insurance the majority of Canadians would lose their homes, their cars, or have to sell their assets. Or how about sales people that help with investments? Without these sales people many wouldn't reach retirement goals. Or even have the understanding on how to invest.
I think you are a very negative person.
