Omg loving the rina ballerina flowers so pretty and delicate! Those hot glue guns should be classified as a weapon lol try the lower temp one or have a bowl of ice water beside you when you use that dangerous tool it will help the booboos! Learned that from guru Martha Stewart! TFS! hugs, Kathy

Thanks for the Beacon recommendation, mississchic! Fabri Tac is known as "the Glue Gun in a Bottle". It will work really well on the flowers. Great project, Scraptress!

Oh Rina...I love your flower! It's as pretty and sweet as you!! I think I need one for the front cover of my Rina book...no...I need three of them for the cover! Actually, I think I'll need a picture of a field of Rina Ballerina flowers to put inside my Rina book as well...you know, to look at! Well...looks like you're going to be very, very busy!! Might as well hold off on cleaning up your room til you're finished this big project! :o)

Especially with tulle the glue gun is a bit dangerous as the material lets the glue trough it. Been there done that :D But apart from your burns the work was clearly successful, that's a BEAUTIFUL flower!

Awesome flower! I know what you mean...the lemming that I am got my first glue gun this weekend so I could try to make some flowers. Yeah, it wasn't pretty...there should totally be warning labels on those things. Oh wait, there are...nuts! I made a few flowers, but badly burned the tip of my index finger and got glue strings everywhere! I would love to try making some fabric flowers that Jade showed, but I think I should master the art of the glue gun before playing with an open flame! =P

Instead of glue gun totally use Beacon's 3in1 glue (hot glue in cold form) or Beacons Fabri-Tac. Faibri-Tac is a little thinner than my favorite 3in1 but, YOU WlLL LOVE THEM BOTH! Both glues dry almost, if not as fast as hot glue. Whatever hot glue works on, Beacons work on also. Try it and let me/us know how you like it and how it compares to hot glue. With this glue you won't have to worry about becoming a 3rd degree been victim. LOL!

Rina! If someone laid 1000 flowers in front of me I would pick this one as being done by you! It' beautiful, over the top! It is soooo you. Thanks for sharing and there is a learning curve with the glue gun for sure. Remember that it keeps coming after the squeeze. Hope this helps. =D

I'm so totally non-functional right now. I hurt my back carrying a case of water, so hubby dosed me with a muscle relaxer. Whoa. I'm relaxed. Your flower is such fluffy goodness. It's like spun sugar or cotton candy. I rather like the three pearls rather than one big one. I also like the colors you used. I've been trying to make paper roses. Hey girl! For "Big Pearls" I use picks from the floral dept that have berries in white on there and just clip off the "berry" as a pearl.
