Still there's no excuse for cheating. Probably there's alot of suspicions going on, when the guy had not skill, and hurting other opponent with each punch without their heads snapping back but bleeding. That might be the reason for the trainer to keep an eye on his hand wrap technique.

People forget that the mosely cotto fight was a pretty close fight. Cotto was on the run those last couple rounds. He was boxing ofcourse but on the run nonetheless. Mosely has been with top rate competitors. I like mosely UD.
Shane can win the fight if he sticks to his gameplan...which is jab and move. Get in and get out. If he does what Miguel Cotto did for the first six rounds and follow that up with what Paul Williams did for the first six rounds...easy fight for Mosley, but this is boxing, and usually nothing every sticks to the script. i personally think he took some Bhop moves and put them into practice here, no doubt in my mind. the wrapping of the arm around the opponents and hitting, holding then getting your punches off and smothering. margarito had no answer for it except to try and throw more punches, which he couldnt do. great game plan, worked perfectly, good job mosley :)

Margarito was someone else on Saturday. Mosley hugged too much, even after punching, which made margo nervous and open. The ref should have deducted points to mosley. Mexican fighters are not used to hugging, even if being hit, like blacks do all the time, it´s form of machismo, I have no clue what happened cause cotto defeated mosley but lost to margo. Margarito should be careful now, he´s from Tijuana, a drug-infested city, drug lords may retaliate because it was a disgrace to mexicans.

Still there's no excuse for cheating. Probably there's alot of suspicions going on, when the guy had not skill, and hurting other opponent with each punch without their heads snapping back but bleeding. That might be the reason for the trainer to keep an eye on his hand wrap technique.

There was nothing wrong with Margarito- he was the same as he has ever been. A strong fighter, but a very BASIC boxer, with minimal skill.
Cotto could've destroyed Margarito just as Mosely did, but he chose not to grapple and cut-off Margarito's punching space. Mosley did that and exposed Margarito's novice boxing skills. The man doesn't even move his head for crying out loud...!

Only way to say margarito should've had this fight is to have things he could have done differently and there was nothing. Ex. i think cotto should've beaten margarito things he could've done differently (A) went for the body more (b) saved his energy for later rounds not start with straight power from the beginning and (C) boxed not brawled with margarito. Shanes my boy but , i'll be honest , I'm surprised and happy he won. Shane has had difficult fights against guys with Margarito's stature and after Antonio beat Cotto I thought I might see him beat Shane the same way but my boy came through dispite the odds. This is a big win for Mosley. He shook up the division a little. And if Pacquaio gets in the ring with him Shane will break him.

Maybe so but give Mosley his due. I'll admit like ReeseMac I thought it was insane for Shane to fight Margarito. Hell I was even mad at his wife/mgr for setting up a fight for a 37year old against a tough fighter...espeically when you know your husband likes to bang. Yet Shane did what he used to do when he was a lightweight and jr welterweight. He boxed!!! I was always a Shane fan but felt his star was fading. What a win Sugar!!!

YES.... knockdown.... no one wanted to listen.. mosely outboxed margarito.. margarito is a brawler and thats as far as his skillz go.. and he definately can't take a body shot. Mosely outboxed him.. wore him down with the body shots and result... KO 43 sec. into the 9th round. Bell saved him in the 8th or it would've been over then. "Tear out his heart so when he goes to push the pedal they'll be no gas in the car" "Swim without getting wet" and he did just that.

People forget that the mosely cotto fight was a pretty close fight. Cotto was on the run those last couple rounds. He was boxing ofcourse but on the run nonetheless. Mosely has been with top rate competitors. I like mosely UD.

Shane can win the fight if he sticks to his gameplan...which is jab and move. Get in and get out. If he does what Miguel Cotto did for the first six rounds and follow that up with what Paul Williams did for the first six rounds...easy fight for Mosley, but this is boxing, and usually nothing every sticks to the script. I think Mosley wins a majority of the first 7 rounds, but after that, unless Mosley really rocks Margarito, Margarito will put too much pressure on Mosley and win by UD.

this is going to be a good fight. a boxer vs a puncher. margarito has the edge in power and stamina but, mosley runs away with the boxing skills. mosley has been getting hit a lot in his recent fights, that worries me. margarito marches straight in and is vulnerable to the stick and move tackticks of mosley. i know margarito is the favorite but i wouldnt be surprised if mosley pulls out a u.d.
