  • You are such a nice person!!! thank you for all your tutorials!!! love you :)

  • if ur using the new eclips its ic_launcher not icon good luck

  • @riky22lou at 3:27 it's shift+control+o

  • i couldnt import with "shift+control" like in 3:27. please make some notes on the changes made in the newest version of ADT, all in a video. the newbies cant learn with these cool videos here if they use the newest version there is. thus these precious tutorials will be just useless unless u give notes on the changes, edu4java. thanks for the tutorials btw

  • @edu4java, PLEASE REMAKE THE VIDEOES AGAIN IN NEWEST VERSION OF ECLIPSE or MAKE NOTES ON THE CHANGES MADE IN THE NEWEST ECLIPSE

  • Thanks for this. By the way, to get this to work on the latest version of ADT you have to change "R.drawable.icon" to "R.drawable.ic_launcher"

  • @BstrangerUK right man, they really have to make notes on those changes or people will definitely get stucked

  • God this is so confusing, I thank you so much for trying to help with these videos but I just don't understand what is Canvas for, or holder... this is so confusing :(

  • hi i would like to know if it could be possible to import character from blender ?

  • @LaurelIR1

Possibly. I have never used Blender, but I think you should be able to export your model as an ASE (3Dstudio export) which is a text file listing all the vertices and faces(indicies in droid) linked via indexed geometry. Then you would need to parse the data into XMLs containing arrays (1 per model and size by vertices). Then you would simply have to write a java program using the xml arrays.

  • @LaurelIR1

But when i say simply, you are just getting into the meat of it, but it is somewhere to start. Check online for Android export scripts - there's got to already be one out there.

  • 09:05 what is the combination for help?

With which tutorial should I start, when I've never programmed in java?

    thank you
