Ugh the price for that solid state drive doesnt make the total cost any better. Sure it adds speed and minus mechanics, but i would seriously wait until the manufactoring cost of SSD drops.

i built my pc gaming rig and YES it has more power than my macbook air, but some functions are still accomplished faster than on windows.

@riambon first of all, you should know that not everything revolves around hardware, and some OS dont need as much DDR (Ram for ignorants) nor as fast of a processor to run fast. I own a 2.13 GHz Macbook air and it runs faster than some more hardware advanced notebooks

So get your facts straight before you judge plus, i bet u samsung isnt as light nor as sleek as this computer

@riambon for a start you get slow 6gb ram, some slower than 4gb. So that doesnt always mean much. Also your notebook is probably 10x thicker and 10x heavier than macbook air. Also some operating systems need nowhere near as much power as others to run at high speeds.
